I have both an Android phone and an Iphone. My Iphone display is in split screen now. Is there a way to disable the SS and have Carplay in full screen mode again?

Yes, you can enable or disable it independently from Android Auto. It's under settings, phone projection. Here's a link to the manual page: Phone Projection

As I can see below in the snap shared by bruesjoh04. There is this arrow at the far right edge after the map, I guess you if you press that, it will hide the map, and turn Apple Car Play to full screen.
I don't have the latest update yet, so I am just assuming.

I wish it was that easy, but you do have to actually go into settings and devices to toggle split screen on (or off). Hitting the little arrow will just remove the extra content and show a mostly black blob on that side of the screen.

For example, with CarPlay, if you had split screen enabled and then decided you wanted it to go back to taking advantage of the full screen, you’d have to disconnect your phone, go into settings, toggle split screen off, then reconnect your device.

Android Auto users will want to just enable split screen and keep it, they have never had full screen support on the Telluride.

Fortunately, the settings for split screen are not universal, it is separate for CarPlay and AA. So split families can operate however they prefer.

I did the update yesterday. After doing so my Sirius channel presets were reordered to numerical order by channel number and the functionality to manually reorder them was removed. I tried deleting all of them and re-adding, but they just get put back in numerical order.

Hey guys, I wanted to provide a follow-up to this. This is what I received back from Mapnsoft:

Thank you for your patience regarding your escalation ticket.

We escalated this with the AVN manufacturer that provide us the software update that we combine in our Map updates with the New Map Data.

I can confirm after receiving a report from them that the function to rearrange your presets is no longer available after completing this update. We are requesting that they add this feature back to the system in a future update.In the end they make the final decision.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Is a possible solution to delete presets before doing the update?

Looks like Mapnsoft takes feature requests so it might be worth it to run a campaign to ask for it.

Yup I asked them to bring the radio presets numbering back. Hate how it’s sorted only by lowest to highest channel number now.
I also asked them to add album art for the song playing on Sirius.

You would go to www.mapnsoft.com and select Kia and create an account. The update is $25 plus shipping for the USB drive. I have spoken to Mapnsoft customer service and this Map Version 14 will not have a free download for Telluride. New Map Version 14.5 is supposed to be released around August/September from conversation with Mapnsoft rep.

Weather definitely now comes from UVO connection over air as i have attached some pictures. Weather app still shows current temperature along with humidity reading and percentage chance of precipitation. Navigation still has traffic alerts which appear to be coming thru UVO connection. First picture also shows the Android Auto split screen with the weather app up. Also navigation reads speed limit signs and will also display your current speed on the navigation screen as you can see from pictures attached. Navigation now has alerts for speed cameras and alerts for red light traffic cameras from what I am seeing. When I did the update, I went from Map Version 12.47.44 to 13.41.42 after new update.

thanks. can you just click the 'hd apps' button on the setup screen and tell us if your weather, doppler and traffic apps are working?

I have attached my screen shot of the Setup screen i have currently and i don't have an HD Apps button. There is a blank spot to the left of the sound setup icon which may have been HD Apps but now it is gone as not sure as i don't remember what I had before i did the Version 14 map update. Thanks and let me know if there is another screen i can look at to try and find the HD apps.

sorry its on the home screen (the one you swipe left to see), the button is called 'HD Radio Data'
