• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What suggestions for improvement do you have for the Telluride?

We have had ours for two days. We bought the S model and it drives me a little crazy to not have an automatic back hatch. It seems odd that the middle row seats fold down electronically but the back hatch doesn’t open from the dash or with the fob. We love the rest of the car!

I agree. That’s my one complaint about the S trim. I also find that you have to slam it pretty good to latch. But that could be because I’m use to the electric latch I had on my 2011 van and have to get use to closing the Telluride.

Brought our S home last night. Wife commented that the headlights weren't very bright following her home. And, the tailgate doesn't bother me that its not electronic but I do wish I could adjust it so it doesn't open high enough to hit the garage door opening. Oh, and another is the car has to be in the "On" position in order to use Homelink. I don't like having to crank the car first to then open the garage door.

I believe the home link design is for safety. If you have your vehicle parked outside and leave the doors unlocked then someone can not gain access into your garage and or your home. I did not like it on another vehicle (Genesis) but then realized the above.

Have you had projector beams before? The lenses tend to more definitively spread the light lower, for exactly the reason your wife may have observed - to not blind oncoming cars and those ahead of you. And good point on the Homelink. I’m using a standard opener now in the same manner you are. That will be an adjustment!

I ordered the tow package, and am a little bummed it only has the 4-pin wiring. That’s fine for probably 80% of the towing I do, though I do occasionally rent a camper with electronic brakes, and the Telly will have no way to use them.

Great point about the projector beams! FYI on the Homelink: Hit the Start button once without your foot on the brake and that is ACC. Press it a second time and the vehicle is ON but not started. This allows one to hit the Homelink button and then with foot on the brake, you can start the car.

That's the way Homelink should be for those who park it outside. I think it's stupid to have one that is powered constantly. I would gladly take the inconvenience.
