If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

For sure.

MSRP plus some BS environmental fee for $867.

They coat the interior/exterior, engine etc. I really don't want them to do it...but he said it's mandatory.

Not all bad then! Again, congratulations. Looking forward to pictures.

I want that exact one. So jealous.
Keep searching!

If you are making calls on it I think I found an easy way to find dealer vehicles...if it only has carpeted mats and no other custom features there is a good chance it's a dealer allocation. Found that to be true a high percentage of the time.

I went back a few pages in this thread but couldn't find an answer. What expectation are dealers setting for lead time on 2021s customer orders placed today? Thanks!

It will vary from dealer to dealer based on their paid deposited orders in front of you and how many allocations they get a month. Safe bet is 5-7 month minimum. Your dealer should be able to give you more specific time frame based on factors I mentioned specific to them.
If you get an eta within the next two months its more than lilely a vehicle factory allocated to them already and not ordered to your exact specs. GL

Just happened to me. He's like we are expecting what?

I said slow down guy...what's your email address, I'll send you the window sticker.

The manager confirmed it's a dealer vehicle...

I'm putting a deposit on it and signing the purchase agreement guys - I'm getting my Telluride!

I ordered my car and didn't order any accessories but when I got my vin, the window sticker showed floor mats.

Guess they just add it as a mandatory upgrade now? Might as well just work it into the MSRP.

Haven't seen a window sticker without carpeted mats in a while.

Glad to hear you've finally found one!

It's weird, when I ordered mine, the sales manager told me that kia usually makes them add an accessory even if it's wheel locks. I thought that was strange but whatever... I agree, floor mats should just be included anyway.

Anyone hear of a dealer charging to apply some sort of wax/coating to the exterior, engine bay, under body...and spray something to protect the leather and charge for it?

Is it legit or a bogus charge?

I did an undercoating on my F150 and was very happy with it. My truck looked like new underneath for years. I think it was under $400. What you're describing doesn't sound the same. Sounds like bogus dealer add on stuff. I'd ask them to see the process on another car since you're paying for it. (In person or via video) That could be a good way to put them on the spot if it doesn't look like it's worth the money.

Anything over sticker is not mandated. You should've been able to order no accessories as well. Just typical dealer add on's. When you get into that finance office im sure they're going to tell you that you can't refinance for at least three months too! 🙄

Everything is negotiable one way or another.
Dealers are in the business to make money. Assume they will try everything. Extras like extended warranties, VIN etching, paint and upholstery protection, and various types of insurance are unnecessary. If you want any of these, the price is also negotiable, otherwise, politely say "no thank you".
Of course, some dealers and finance managers deal customers with more respect than others, and those need to be rewarded by letting this community know. It also helps to let their management chain know as well.

Z.

I saw someone post about a mandatory environmental add on where they had to do everything you mentioned. About $895 IIRC.

Same, although sounds like many are just being delivered with them. I’ll be damned if they try to get me to pay for them though.

We don't fight the carpeted floor mats from the dealership. They come out as soon as we get home and all-weathers go in. The next time the dealership mats see the vehicle is the day we sell it or trade it in.

Any word yet on when/if allocations will open for July?

Waiting on confirmation. @StephenCantrelle has stated that some trims are already available in KFOS for order this month - but not all trims. The SXP seems to be most impacted.

Can confirm now.. no Prestige orders. No EX or SX unless with Nightfall Edition(SX Non Prestige).
This is only if store got any allocation. I am a top 20 store(volume on Tellurides) in the Nation and got no additional allocation of Nightfall. So looks like slim pickings even on Nightfall.

So appears just LX and S open for now.
