To anyone who might can help:
I‘ve been reading up on several threads but having trouble deciphering some info. Can anyone tell me if this vehicle listed on Failcat is the one I’m waiting on? I’ve paid a deposit and the dealership gave me the attached sheet, but apart from the specs matching I’m not sure how to tell if this is the one.
If it is, how long do we think it might take to get to me in Birmingham? (I could be at the factory in 2 hours if I could just go pick it up! )

I would not recommend it personally. It’s bad enough people are posting on FB group constantly. Kia is monitoring and has already disabled one version we have had here.

Just curious--how would you suggest using the VIN site? I see a Nightfall edition that popped up last week as going to a local dealer in my area--if I'm interested in seeing if that particular car is available, what's the best way to proceed?

Call dealer.. ask for new car director or new car manager. Ask manager if this vin number is coming to location and available.. ask if they have markup or selling at MSRP.. place deposit if available to reserve if you are okay with price.

Question; if a MY20 was converted to a MY21, would the window sticker / vin on this site also reflect a change?

for instance, you see a recent MY20 on the site. Is there a chance it’s a 21 or is what you see what you get?

MY 20 are MY 20. VIN must have an M in it for 21. It will have an L for 20.

My dealer just video called me to show me two cars they received this morning, 2 night fall edition that showed up on failcat on 7/11 and 7/15 is this normal? @DruKe

Possibly. What are the VINs? The date on Failcat isn't necessarily the production date. I'd always compare last 5 of VIN with latest VIN.

Well, ask them to video panel on the side of the driver door - or check it out when you see the vehicles. Then you'll know the actual production date, and you can compare with posting date.

Actually not feeling the night fall edition package at all, so I told them I wasn't interested. Thanks for the suggestion though.
