• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So was sitting around and saw a Palisade brochure i had laying around my dad's house I left back when shopping around, and something interesting caught my eye.
There's been questions about Telluride's towing capabilities and lack of clear information about certain aspects of it, also I had a gripe about early info stating downhill assist is included and then there's no more information or from some sources saying there isn't one.
So I was kinda surprised when I saw this in Palisade's brochure (it's a screen from the web version)

The talk has pretty much been these cars are mechanically identical, with the major difference being style.
I can't find much on these being on the Telluride, maybe I missed something, so does Telluride have these as well? Why does Kia and Hyundai have such poor spec releases on their vehicles.

engineering is identical. The interior and exterior hinged panels are different, but this is only a view.

Does the Telluride have downhill brake control though? I was only aware of the hill-start assist control (HAC), where the brake is still held until you accelerate uphill. So you do not roll back.

Nothing in the manual about downhill assist.

They are basically the same just different marketing terms. Towing - Anti Sway and Oil Cooler
Ah think i now remember this post just skimming it, so pretty much it's a guess that Telluride has the "heavy duty" intercooler or if that more marketing bs.

So from some articles they say Telluride doesn't have it, even though Kia's press releases say it does and the brochure they sent me in July 2019 also does, yet there's nothing on Kia's site and anything in the manual. So if Palisade has it as part of it's AWD kit, then why doesn't Telluride or is that also a misprint by Hyundai? Yea it seems like some minute details, not something most people use or need, but realized it be nice to have when visiting my dad, his house is up in the mountains and it's unpaved dirt road and one drive way is pretty steep, Telluride is ehh going down it heard a slight scrap think it was the mud flaps.
