Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... No more searching for your VIN when booking Service appts
The one that gets me is always ‘how many miles on the vehicle’
Like ‘idk dude, at the house it was 5,000, now I’m down the road and you think I automatically know the exact mileage? Get out of here’
Service techs should always start with ‘[estimate] How many miles are on your vehicle’
You know darn well they’re going to check it anyway when they go to inspect the car.
