I am glad you said this cause I am really contemplating ordering the GWP cause I wasn’t sure what it would look like in comparison to the SWP. So according to you, it IS different.

With any luck we'll get to see actual video and/or photos of these colors on Tellurides before ordering opens up for them in August (presumably.) Until then I'm not trusting the online configurator. Having a 2020 SWP converted to a 2021 it would've been nice to see the difference with GWP but that would've added months on to an already long wait. If you're in no rush for a vehicle, and I mean no rush, you should get real world depictions before you order.

Ordered a 2020 SWP SXP AWD in Feb '20 w/Dune. Dealer has been mostly mia, but did send an update re: delivery of 7/27/2020; however the paperwork showed GWP & a 2021. I now have a VIN # through failcat, and that shows 2021 SWP SXP AWD Black w/Dune so who really knows? Vin was created on 7/7 so we'll see. Cautiously optimistic.

What paperwork did they show you with GWP in place of the SWP? If it was a 2020 converted to 2021 it should be SWP.

I found the online configurator inconsistent as well in showing Snow White Pearl and Glacial White Pearl. I asked my dealer and the sales manager replied today:

The designation of “pearl” in any paint color will denote the metallic flake you are looking for. Although we do not have any paint chips yet, or an actual vehicle to show you, you should be able to get an idea of the color in this video of a Seltos in the same color. Different model, same paint color.

After more research on our end, our product reference guide for the 2021 Telluride shows that the Glacial White Pearl is actually replacing the Snow white pearl for the 2021 model year – which makes way more sense than offering two pearl white color options.

It says Glacier White Pearl is that the same as Glacial White Pearl?

Good question. I had the same question. My dealer showed me a Monroney label yesterday for a 2021 that had Snow White Pearl printed on it and it was crossed out by his hand noting it to be Glacial White. So, this morning I asked my dealer to confirm today. The sales manager in reply explained:

… I placed an order for you yesterday for Glacial White Pearl. I can confirm that that is the color you will receive.

The window sticker I printed was only for pricing purposes because there are no Glacial White Tellurides available to print a window sticker for.

I went back and looked at the screen shot our salesman sent and the exterior is listed as SWP. He must have told us verbally that the vehicle was now a 2021 and GWP. No matter, just curious how different the whites are.

They can verify if these colors were now available and if SWP was now unavailable, but yea curious to see the difference if there is any at all. We do not have a night fall edition but we ordered black OEM wheels to replace the stock silver one. I will be blacking everything out.

Hi everyone, longtime listener, first time caller.

We became interested in the Telluride this spring and stumbled upon the Telluride Forum website. Been very informative for me. We just put a deposit down on a 2021 White EXP w/NE. I'm not expecting to even have a VIN/Order# for 1-2 months and realistically hope to have delivery by end of year.

I just found this video today. The caption on the YouTube video says Snow White Pearl but I'd assume because it's a 2021 that the color is really GWP. Even my sales guy this week said GWP is just a rename of SWP so I'm not convinced the dealer network is very informed on this.
