Order to delivery time

I was told the same. No ETA yet, but order was officially placed. In guessing at October but who knows??? We're in the same boat.

Did they give you a screen shot of the order in KFOS? If not I'd ask for that.

I think in certain cases there can be an abnormally long wait after entry into KFOS before Kia accepts it and assigns an ETA. I am guessing this is due to the optional features where they may have supply chain issues. It would be good for a Dealer to respond. I know my Dealer's Sales Manager says that my order has been entered into KFOS but now 10 days later I do not have an ETA. I trust that he is telling me the truth. I have tow package which I think may still be restricted for whatever reason. Eventhough they are producing them again the numbers seem low to me. I would think more people would want towing if for no other reason than easily mounting a bike rack.

More than likely order is placed in Kdealer and is in queue now.. if entered into KFOS you would have an ETA within a week of being entered.

I had an 8/24 ETA from my dealer, and this morning I found (on failcat) a newly assigned VIN that is going to my dealer and is the exact description of what I ordered.

Sounds like the dealer was trying to pull a fast one on you.. when did you place your order? I ordered through Ed Voyles as well but haven’t even gotten an order number let alone an ETA...

I hope nothing shady is happening. Ed Voyles confirmed that my delivery date is 8/16/30 but said that the VIN I found in Failcat is not assigned to me.

@stephenCantrell confirmed the VIN I found in Failcat had an 8/16/20 delivery date AND had my name on it.

we will see...

a 7/26 order date to 8/16 delivery date seems blazing fast for an SXP.

Can anyone confirm that dealers are able to order SXPs (Non-Nightfall) when their “order window” becomes available? If so, does anyone know when those order windows tend to open?
I am asking because my dealer is confident that they can get an order into the system and on the lot within the next 90-120 days.

I think it’s around the 15th of every month. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later, depending on trim

Can you answer these questions:

1. Can you order a regular SXP-T yet, Non-Nightfall?
   1. If not, any idea when ordering will become available?
2. When do the order windows/allocations open for ordering and how often?

Trying to find out if my dealer is feeding me BS on the 90-120 days on my order. I tried searching for this info but couldn't find it. If it already exists someone please point me in the right direction.
