@DruKe I am doing some analysis of production stats that aren't captured on the telly stats site...and I noticed that there are 610 VINs with the option code NE from prior to 6/4/2020 which is when I believe Nightfall Production began. So - when did Nightfall production begin and why is NE assigned to units going back to January?

I noticed this too. i believe they are mostly S models but could be others.

Vehicles with the NE designation:

953 are SX V6 AWD - Produced from 6/26/2020 to current
653 are S AWD - Produced from 1/7/2020 to 6/23/2020
480 are S FWD - Produced from 1/7/2020 to 6/23/2020

It's the option code of 15. So it affected any trim level with an option code of 15.

If NE refers to Nightfall Edition - why is it showing on vehicles manufactured in January 2020. I am just trying to do some analysis on the data download. The NE code on S models prior to Nightfall being produced is confusing.

Weird. I cleared my cache and rebooted my computer and still getting the NE on the January produced trim models. I will try again later.

Guess you'll have to wait until Cloudflare pulls it again. You can try an CTL + F5 to forceably refresh too. Might help. Otherwise wait. As you can see from my picture the data is fine.

I am just getting my search on with this WONDERFUL site and noticed that the forums say you only need to look once as there is an update daily around 3am (what timezone btw?).
My real question is around 6:30am CST I looked at the site and saw ~250 new entries and happened to refresh later in the day around noon and saw 498! Any reason why this is?

My real question is around 6:30am CST I looked at the site and saw ~250 new entries and happened to refresh later in the day around noon and saw 498! Any reason why this is?

i can’t answer your question regarding the look up site but I would be surprised if you got your T in 6-9 weeks. I ordered mine on 5-28-20 with the second highest allocated dealer in MN and mine is not expected until Oct. I am 7th in line at the dealer For an SX-P/T. Good luck I hope you get it that soon.

Yeah, I took it as just salesman speak. However, ordering from St. Cloud may be an advantage as there were not a lot of orders.

@DruKe I tried again and your fix worked. Thank you. I did a little analysis on the data we have on failcat. I guess I have been really bothered by the fact that my order keeps getting pushed out and wanted to see what impact the Nightfall production has taken on regular (Prestige in my case) production. It has been more than I suspected. Here is a graph by month. I will keep updating the database as we get completed months. You can see below that for those of us waiting on an SXP (labeled just Prestige below) KIA has yet to get their Prestige production up to the level it was in February when waits were still 6-8 months. A big thanks to @StephenCantrelle for putting up with all my questions on the status of my order. I am a finance guy and love data. This picture below highlights the issue many of us are dealing with. Put simply - KIA has used their added capacity for Nightfall production...not clearing the backlog. I think we all knew this - but the numbers bear that out.

The scraper publishes the data as it gets it. You caught it during the scrape.

Made a couple changes in my vlookup/filters to track more production variants. For the main total production view - I added a break out for EX-Premium just like I did for the Prestige package: All views updated with the latest numbers from @DruKe file.



Also - I know a few weeks ago there was a ton of chatter about the status of vehicles with the Tow package. You can see below - KIA has been quickly ramping up production of the Tow Package across all trim levels - although still below their peak last spring. However - like all the other increases - some of the ramped up production capacity of this option has gone to the Nightfall trims.
