ETA vs. Reality

I’ve searched the forums and haven’t really found the answer.

How accurate is the ETA for transport?

My ETA is 8/29 and ironically I’ll be on a road trip. I’m hoping it comes in early so I can drive it instead of our 8 year old X3. What is y’all experiences with ETA times?

But seriously I would say from when you initially get ETA can move up to a month.

So many factors on transport side and location from factory (are the rails involved or is it transported via truck directly from factory)

when Telluride is transit Tending or In transit is the most accurate I see ETA dates After it has a Vin Generated

I’ve had 4 ETAs. I usually call 2-4 weeks prior to get my new ETA

Mine showed up on Failcat 7/7. Dealer had an initial ETA of 8/5, then it slipped to 8/8. It actually showed up 8/5

I want to say Nightfall non-prestige trims are on a different ETA measurement than SX prestige. Typically faster these days for Nightfall non-prestige.

Prestige Trim = Longest Wait and most ETA changes...LOL
