• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Snow White Pearl vs Glacier White Pearl

When do we think GWP starts showing up in Failcat? By EOM after allocations are issued?

2021 snow white pearl, hoping I don't like the GWP more when they start being produced.
Beautiful! I ordered the Glacial White so I hope it’s everything I Dream it is 😃

I like the black too but have been told it gets too hot.
Maybe too late but, I have a SWP SXP with black interior and we have been in the high 90's for the last week. Didn't get hot at all. Love the fact that the seat cooler came on automatically......

I know Audi gives the option of a couple different shades of white, wish Kia would have done the same.

Anyone here able to get into KFOS this month with GWP? The only person I've seen have any luck is @Tobstertx3

This is exactly what I ordered but I am not sure if I am in KFOS yet. I paid my deposit July 15th.

Your dealer likely would've let you know by now if you got in. Plus, a 1 month wait to get in is super fast and I'd love to know which dealer you're working with!

Did they share with you a copy of your order form?

I’m in Kansas and they didn’t share with me the form but I was like #3 on the list.

My order apparently went in sometime last month (July). When I ordered originally in Feb it was for SWP then cancelled in May. I was supposedly #1 on the 2021 order list but who really knows so when the new colors were announced this spring, I told them I didn't care if it was the Snow White Pearl or the new GWP. I did get a copy of the order sheet earlier this month and it shows it is FA factory allocated stock and ordered GWP. No idea when it will be produced but it apparently has been accepted by KIA. I kind of expect late this year but yes, they are taking orders for the GWP. It looks like they are cranking out a bunch of SWP maybe that is catching up on orders and prepping to move on to the GWP by the target of end of August.

Help!!! don't know what some of these letters mean. Explain please.
VIN = Vehicle Identification Number
GWP = Glacial White Pearl
SX = Type of Telluride trim
NF = Nightfall package
KFOS = Kia Forwarding Order System

That’s awesome you got in last month. Based on a few other people who received a July allocation, it sounds like October is about when they’re expecting delivery. Keep us posted on your Telly!

Sorry for the long reply but, YES I am glad it finally went in and was accepted. I really am not in a hurry for this car because I have a fully functional older car that I am driving, plus we have a couple of other cars, my wife's Toyota and an older F150 pickup that are currently on storage mode with my insurance because they are not being driven during the pandemic. My wife has serious health issues so she goes nowhere. I was looking for a car with all the newer tech and safety when I decided on the Telluride. Once I get a VIN, one or two of my cars will go up for sale. My biggest issue has been with the lack of communication with/from the dealer. After being promised #1 once orders opened last month, I waited for call for several days and finally called them twice and left messages for both the salesman and the Sales MGR before I got a call back with the info and copy of the order sheet. That's when I saw it was GWP and not SWP and I'm not that particular about the white, it just stays cleaner looking longer than the others. I have gone the whole dark color thing many times in my life and although very nice looking the never stay clean more than a few hours, plus this is an always outdoor car for me so white stays cooler. My side of the garage is currently occupied with my 1969 Roadrunner that I purchased new when I was graduating from HS. That car has priority over anything else on my side of the garage. I still can not be certain that I got everything I wanted on the Telluride order because I have deciphered all the codes and a couple of items are not there. My order was a pretty loaded car SX P/T with a bunch of options. I asked the salesperson to decode them on the order and he stumbled, and told me he would call me back. I figured out most with info from this forum before he called back. When he finally did I asked him about the 2 or 3 items that were not on the order sheet and he told me that they were limited by the number of options they could put on the order. I just let it go rather than pushing the matter because honestly I can probably get 2 of them added when I pick up the car. I just am amazed at how they come up with stories that are not logical or make any sense when I challenge them. Just tell the truth because for me an "I don't know, but I will find out for you" answer is much better than the horse manure they try to shovel.

I hear you on the pivot to white after having dark colored vehicles in the past. Having only had black and gray cars, I'm looking forward to something different. Oddly enough, I did this recently with my iPhone after having white for so many models, I finally switched to black. Agreed the dealer experience, collectively speaking, seems to be lacking across most dealerships around the country. Kia is putting out great vehicles and it's a shame that many dealerships can't keep up on the CX side. Seems to be an immediate opportunity for L&D if they want the level up the brand

I really love how the gray interior looks with the white. I was originally going to go with black until I saw this photo. Looks really clean and classy

Agree, it looks very nice. There's a white Tesla Model 3 on my street with a white/gray combo and I always rubberneck when I walk past. Just make sure to keep a stain removing kit in your Telly ;)

It does look beautiful, but I would be concerned about keeping it clean.

Yeah, both the wife and I would have liked this. However, with our 2 young boys we decided on black.
