Two weeks ago our ETA went from 10/22 to 10/17. Today I got an update that it went from 10/17 to 11/9. Is it reasonable to see August allocated vehicles with an earlier ETA than a July allocated vehicle?Just emailed my dealer, they've been really good with responding to my emails, he responded in 15 minutes! (Peak Kia North - Dustin)

After reading that Jason Fox was not with Muncie anymore, I reached out to Lucas Boehm and asked about that, his answer is Jason IS still with Muncie and will be the contact person for this forum still. He may have moved to another position in the company but is still making it happen for them.

Trim can play a roll in the manufacturing timing. What did trim did you order? Also - when was it accepted into KFOS?

No I will remove it when I need the third row but like you said I am pretty sure I could use it with the seats ups even though it is not designed for that.

I ordered the exact same vehicle on 7/27/20 and was told by my dealer it would be 4-6 months

With that OPs original order being over a year ago, it’s crazy to see how their ETA was Less than 2 months And now order ETAs are far greater

I also have a Gravity Gray SXP with Tow on order...since January. It was accepted into KFOS in July. I have an ETA of 10/12. Has your order been accepted into KFOS yet?

Glad to hear this--I was looking forward to meeting Jason when we drive to Muncie to pick up our Telluride in a couple weeks. I noticed he's been pretty quiet on the forum lately, but figured he was overwhelmed with orders and was dialing back the exposure for a while...
I do not understand why I received the email today that Jason was no longer with Kia of Muncie. I just received an email from him with the warranty information I requested initially. Glad to know he is still doing business for us forum members..
The email you received is from @drivekiamuncie.com and Jason’s email is @kiaofmuncie.com. Not sure if there is more to story here or not.

Both of these guys and mine are all GWP. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the ETA. Maybe they're planning on batching out a bunch of GWP in October/early November? My dealer told me that GWP would get priority over SWP but I still see so many SWPs coming out. I guess those are all back orders? Looking at fc right now and almost all of the SWP are non nightfall. Only 5 are NE from what released today.

Yeah I also have a GWP order that went into KFOS in July and initially carried an ETA of 9/13 and now the last update I have is 10/14. I guess they have a lot more SWP paint than they thought.

I too went into KFOS in July. My ETA has moved from 9/13, to 10/12. Gravity Gray for me.

For those of you like me waiting for an SX Prestige...thought I would give an update on production. With the latest information out of failcat - August SX Prestige production has now exceeded July totals. Good news...now if ETA's would start shifting closer!!

good work man! KIA seems to love S production. You would think it will be smart to pump out the expensive Trims but it's more practical to produce what most buyers can easily afford! Just stop pumping too much of the nightfalls and ramp up SXP and EXP. The wait is too much!!
