• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is the Parking Distance Warning - Forward feature only available on SX models? Or EX as well?

Many thanks in advance. Great forum I was fortunate to locate.

Only on the SX. Doesn’t look like anything has changed for 2021.

Cannot confirm for sure as I own an SX, but according to the interior view on the Kia website, it does. (So take it with a grain of salt until an EX owner can chime in for first hand info).

Welcome aboard!

EDIT: It appears all trim levels have it. I would suggest that makes sense since all trim levels include FCW/FCA.

That button on the other trims must be for the rear parking sensor then. Weird it has the ultrasonic for FCA/FCW but won't tell you if you're parking to something too close. :)

FCA/FCW uses a combination of the radar in the lower facia and the camera mounted at the top of the windshield.

Parking distance warning uses the small ultrasonic sensors in the rear (and in the SX, front) bumper.

Cool - thanks for the clarification!
