• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a Telluride SX (Canada) and I've set easy access for driver seat to ON on both (forward/backward) and the other on (up/down or whatever it is called I don't remember). So my seat is going full backward when I stop the car to get out easy but it doesn't go down as I expected.
Am I wrong ?

Says in the manual may not work if you are getting in/out of the car to prevent foot injury. I wonder if it means detection by the seat occupancy sensor or in general up/down won’t even work at all for this feature. My US SXP also doesn’t really noticeably go up/down either. Maybe you have to have it set at a very high seat position to notice it in action.

I was googling for the use of this feature and now I’m back to my favorite site!!! My seat is set to the lowest position and is that the reason why the feature seems not to be doing anything?

Likely the case. Could try saving a seat setting at the highest position if you want to see it in action.

I'm torn on this feature. On the one side it makes it a little easier to get in and out, but it also means that when the car is off, the driver seat backs up into the rear-facing child seat :( I just wish it didn't go so far. I checked and it's on the regular setting (Options are akin to Off/Regular/Extended), so I may just turn it off. I had a 2007 Lexus RX that always moved the steering wheel instead of the seat, which was a MUCH better system.

I agree, the Lexus automatic tilt/telescoping wheel feature when entering/exiting the car is so useful. Too bad even in the SXP it is only manual.
