Just a quick introduction by a new Northern Plains member.....
Placed an order this past weekend for a Ebony Black w/grey interior SX (non-prestige). We were told by the salesman that it would be a month to a month and a half before the vehicle arrives.
The first 2 work days of this week, I have basically forced my wife to carpool with me in my sweet old 2002 Chrysler Concorde Limited, which I've had for about 12 or 13 years. Both days, she asked me if it was June yet. We are both pretty excited about this rig. Have been following it since the first commercial we saw in lead up to the Super Bowl. This will be our first Kia. Just got rid of a 2012 Ford Escape, which we owned from new. We also have an F150. Have been partial to Ford, but after test driving the "Exploder"... we decided to go a different route. The Telluride won out over the Atlas for us. The Atlas is an excellent machine and I have no doubt we would have loved it. But, in the end.... you just get more features with the SX than the Atlas SEL R Line that we were looking at. The Telluride also put a bigger smile on my face when stomping down the throttle from a roll on at 65 mph. Before I knew it, the speedo was reading triple digits. Whoops! The Atlas seemed to seriously lack the passing grunt.
Anyways.... looking forward to the shared insight on this forum. Cheers!
