• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Canadian 2021 Telluride

Hi there. When did you order your telluride? Furthermore, can you please let us know how much were the rims and the side steps with installation. I see one picture showing the price but I’m not sure if this includes all of the above mentioned work in it?

Rims were an extra $1282.43 plus hst and the KIA Sidesteps were $903.50 plus tax and install

Hi
The sidestep & slit seat rear cargo mat were ordered from KIA parts and the Fast wheel satin black rims I ordered myself online from Canada wheels delivered from Montreal in 3 days then I had the KIA dealer install them. Make sure you also order the black nuts and Max TPMS for air pressure monitoring system along with the FAST rims. They are ODM made to fit original specs and I used the factory supplied tires. Happy with the results Cheers
So how much is the cost of side step with installation?
When did you order your telluride? I ordered My white SXL telluride on May 15th and I’m still waiting to hear back from the dealer.

Ordered my SXL on May 4

That's because its not fully loaded SXL
Congrats on the new car. Especially given all the wait.. do you mean higher specs dont have remote key start. Well once you pick up the car, we will all know for sure....

I don't do that as I posted before, not everyone wants car payments all their lives. in fact my plan is to retire at 60, and I am on schedule to do that (just turned 50), house paid off since I was 42.

I plan on keeping it 15 years since I put about 7,000-8,000 kms a year on it, 10 years at least provided it's not a lemon.
took the car today, looked at the build quality, compared to Korean it's just trash. Later I will write with a photo, so as an engineer, I'm just sure that in 10 years, even with a mileage of 8k per year, it will turn into a piece of shit.

Why do I get the feeling nothing will ever make you happy?

You picked up a brand new vehicle today, and you are already complaining and calling it trash.

Take care, enjoy it while you can I guess. I will make sure to wave at you as we pass each other in Calgary for the next 2 years (or less).

At least we know after 2 years time you will be driving something else and we won't have to worry about you anymore.

interesting moment: the car was ordered in white, Kia Canada changed to a frozen glacier for 2021. Mine is still painted with Snow White Pearl.

While the car was at the dealer's, I suppose that someone rode it. The dealer put oem Kia mats on all 3 rows over the factory pile carpets. In this form, they gave it to me. Nice bonus for about 400 bucks. The headliner was kinked and crookedly cut off (I saw a similar post on the forum with an identical description), the dealer offered an OEM mat in the trunk as compensation. I am very pleased with the financial side of the purchase, the car too, but the build quality after a real Korean is a little depressing. but we are always positive.

It's been noted in other posts that the new Glacial White is not in production until September, same with Wolf Gray

Maybe its old news now but it looks like we do have the Black package in Canada (SX Limited Special Edition). I’m probably in the minority but the black out version doesn’t appeal to me. I am contemplating between Sx and SX limited.

The Kia.ca website was just updated on Friday or Saturday, but many of us have known for a while, and even some of us have ordered the "Special Edition" (Blackline).

I am patiently waiting for mine, should be here in less than 2 weeks.

The dealer told you 2 week? What did you get and when?

Curious to hear from those who bought the SX vs the SX Limited. Is the roughly $3500 increase worth it? If so was there one specific feature that makes it worth it in you opinion? ( LED tail lights, HUD, 2nd row captain chairs, heard/cooled second row)

In my signature...

Pretty fast turnaround, looking to test drive a Telluride this weekend and hopefully be able to decide if I want to join the club.

In terms of a pricing, what is everyone's general consensus? In the past, I have always done things such as using the invoice price and offering x% over that. But with the Telluride selling so well, do you think the dealers will still want to play ball?

Great

great question. I’m also curious if more people are choosing leasing or financing

That would be my guess, or I just got really lucky and picked right color and trim that was not allocated.

But in the end I won't believe it until I see it at the dealer.

I thought maybe he was bullshitting me, but the VIN is real, 5XYP5DHC3MG10XXXX is what they gave me (XXXX are actual numbers, edited out by me)

Just got our VIN, too. Got the Green Moss w Nightfall SXL. He said it’ll be here in 3-4 weeks!

I got a white Nightfall edition on July 14th. Still nothing here. Did you order before that? I also found out today that they have black version of the side steps which I ordered. Nice surprise as i thought they were going to put the regular ones on for me.
