I was one of the first in our area to order a 2020 SXP...took exactly 4 months to the day to get it. I ordered Black on Black...then had the front windows tinted and the whole thing ceramic coated at a friends shop... No waxing ever.... just soap and water in a touch-less car wash and the wind takes off the excess... Might do what you did...There is a spray coating that is out ... Baby steps I guess

Looks good! I’m attempting to black out ours myself. Just curious if the wrapped the center of the grill too or if the dipped it?

we painted it, I know a guy that does it professionally and let him take over, all the chrome is wrapped. wheels were wrapped too

I know there are apparently levels of ceramic coating. I have the black SX-p and had a consult to get mine done. This guy had the Fenylab brand and recommended the 5 year with some self healing. Are there other better brands? Or just depends on the installer? I’m in Kansas City area

I did a decent grade of ceramic on mine. I am not to familiar with the brands sorry, I know the installer so he will touch mine up, I live in California and it was so hot past couple weeks and a really small part peeled, but for the most part they say it last around 5 years. Just see if you can come back in and get it touched up if needed. Hope this helps a little bit

I was thinking of dipping the grill without removing it. The holes might be large enough to fit a piece of backing cardboard behind to protect the radiator as you spray.
