2021 Telluride - IF you recently received - what was the wait?

I know similar questions have been discussed, but I'd like to ask it this way: If you have taken delivery of your special-order Telluride within the past, say 4 months, what was our wait time in weeks, from the time you ordered to the time of delivery? PS: After you take the poll. post a reply tellng us what trim level and packages.

Only nightfall (non prestige) trims are coming in fast. If you want SXP, you are looking at 6 months or more typically. LX, S, EX are usually not as long a wait as SXP.

I've Ordered Nightfall EX (not prestige, but does have Premium). I hope you're right - I would really like to have it in a month or two.

Ordered end of December 2019 as a 2020 (with original msrp and when KIA was also including incentives) picked it up a couple of weeks ago as a 2021 model (with two price increases and only a $500 rebate for financing available at time of delivery) Nearly a $2000 price swing since ordering. Thanks KIA. Just hope you back up your warranty better than you've rolled out this vehicle this past year Awesome vehicle so far tho!

Ordered a 2020 Black Copper SX-P/dune brown with tow package on 1/30/20 that was moved to a 2021. Arrived dealer 8/15. Picked up 8/17 due to the rain and flooding here. I received the $500 Kia and $400 military rebate. The wait was worth it to get the remote start on the key fob and the other features offered on the 2021. As others have said this is a great vehicle all around.

SX AWD non prestige from at the time the highest volume dealer in the state regarding Tellurides. Take into account approximately a 2 month delay due to covid in there as well which is what ultimately made ours a 21 model.
If you put in a deposit for an "order" any time after April, odds are your vehicle is still waiting to be built. If you have, and have taken delivery already, you simply purchased a pre allocated vehicle to that dealership from the factory such as all these nightfalls here lately. They're not customer ordered vehicles.
Some dealers are looking at a year lead time for custom orders right now. So depending on their monthly allocations you may receive a 2022 model next summer if you order today. Nuts

Well since you were technically "born yesterday" with regard to joining the forum yesterday, you've got some catching up to do.
Theres folks here that have deposits on orders from last fall still at lower volume dealers! People driving a lot of these nightfall editions, S and LX trims just happened on the vehicles at their respective dealers in the past month or two because thats what KIA has decided to produce in higher volume lately. Supply has always been behind on this vehicle since like May of last year iirc and paid customer orders are at the bottom of their priority list right now

I guess I will find out. Still one can hope. I know production was curtailed for a while, but I saw this in a Carbuzz article (5 Aug) posted elsewhere here: "Sales for the Kia Telluride SUV also increased by 68.3-percent over the last month as production resumed at Kia's US manufacturing plant in Georgia." So fingers are crossed this might result in somewhat less of a wait time.

We ordered our EX AWD Premium with tow package from Kia of Muncie on 3/17/20, and it was delivered to the dealership on 8/19/20 (~23 weeks).

My Muncie order was in November. It arrived on the lot today, picking it up on the weekend. I was never in a rush, so the wait time has never bothered me. Without COVID, I believe that their 6 month estimate at the time of ordering would have been accurate, give or take a few weeks.

We initially ordered our Black 2020 SX with Prestige Package in mid-December of 2019. We were told to expect about 8-12 weeks for delivery due to demand. No biggie. Then the ol' COVID happened. The salesman kept us informed through the factory shutting down, then going to single-shift operation, then finally back up to three-shift. They were trying to fill all the original orders as fast as they could. Then we got the call that they were shifting production to the 2021s and we wouldn't be getting our originally ordered car. Instead he flagged one of the 2021s they were getting in for us that pretty much matched what we wanted. It also happened to have a roof rack and the new Nightfall package. So after about nine months of waiting we just brought home our upgraded beauty yesterday.

Did you mean SX Prestige or EX Premium? The Prestige package is only available (as far as I know) on the SX trim level.
