At what point would a name get attached to a vehicle? I placed an order in June and never heard anything on it. Because i check failcat often, i found a vin similar enough that i would be happy with so i emailed my sales rep that vin and he said its available. They already had my deposit for months from my order back in june. He was very short and quick to say i could have the vehicle i found off failcat so im wondering if he even put my name to it?

So yes Kia does limit the amount of items you can add to 6. So this is accurate.
Also as of late the accessories are even more limited(maybe due to supplies)

So only options as of today(can change tomorrow) that you can choose are
Floor mats, cargo net, cargo cover, cargo mat, mud guards and wheel locks.

Dealer can install the other items at the dealer level but keep in mind you may have to pay labor on certain items like roof rack or side steps.

@StephenCantrelle, I'm struggling to get information from my dealer but it may be that the salesman I'm working with is the one not very communicative. Anyway, is it possible, using the order form I shared in the previous post, to see if my order was picked up in the September window at Wilson Kia in Flowood, MS? Thanks.

If you placed an order your name is attached the whole time to the internal number and then crosses over to the vin when it is assigned.. If you put a deposit or reserve one that is incoming that isnt a order the dealer can put a name on the incoming unit

I unfortunately can not see on my end until we have a Vin number for any updates.
