• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... List the thing(s) that annoy you about your Telluride

oooh 😮 I’m assuming all the models lack the steering wheel volume control? That’s a bummer. This makes me realize I should make a list of things to check before finalizing the sale. Not that that alone would be a deal breaker, but stuff not working... would rather have that addressed before I drive it away.
I have it on my 2020, is it not on all models?

I'm probably doing incorrect but when I try to use the 'volume' buttons next to the mode I get nothing.
UPDATE: @wazslow since your response seemed so forceful, LOL! I knew that I was doing something wrong. I will not say but I can now control the volume on the steering wheel.

Sorry, wasn't intended to be forceful. Just curious why it wasn't working.

Forceful was the incorrect word. Your statement came across that you were 100% sure that the volume could be changed on the steering wheel so I knew I wasn't using it correctly. Im not really sure but I think I was pressing it or something. I may have tried to turn up the volume but was turning it down instead and just assumed it didn't work. Thanks though! It was urking me!

Relieved 😅 thank you!

FYI - I discovered the other day that if you push in/depress the volume tab it mutes the radio.

I know two :

1. Have to turn auto-start off every freakin time you get in. That is freaking annoying
2. No foot activated tailgate.
3. No lock button beside the close button to lock and close tailgate at same time, my bmw had it.
4. Navigation and menu navigating is quite complex
That’s it right now thanks
Overall how does the Telluride compare to your prior vehicle?

One thing and one thing only for me: can’t lock the freaking doors from the outside while the car is running except from the app. Drives me nuts when I want to just hop out at the store real quick!
In most states it is actually illegal to leave the car running while unattended, even with the doors locked.

My 2 cent:
~ Great to have the tail hatch auto open but then why not have a feature to have the all the doors unlocked?
~ When you walk up to the car the mirrors extend so it recognizes you approaching. Why not have a feature to auto unlock the doors?
~ When I walk up, why do we have to touch the door lock button as well?
~ Leave the drive select (Comfort / Sport etc) in the mode you last left it in! (Why default to Comfort?)

Love this car so these are definitely the smallest of "complaints" and just where Kia could build on an almost perfect car.

1-seat belts, floor mats and hand brake button, made of some kind of cheap material.
2-Dashboard is not fully digital like other Kia’s new redesigned cars or like Telluride twin sister Hyundai Palisade.
3-Mobile phone keep connecting and disconnecting by itself many times in the journey.
4-Rear seat occupant reminder goes off all the time which makes it impractical.
5-Indoor ambient lighting is very weak, which makes it unnoticeable and useless most of the time.
But in the end, I really love this car.

The locks are a security feature. Makes it harder for someone to jump in and car jack you.

Just as an FYI, I traded in a 2018 Audi and you had to turn off the auto start-stop feature every time also. I’ll note that the Kia one is even less noticeable than the Audi.

Very cool you're in Saudi Arabia! Curious about the GT Line Telluride; is it comparable to the SXP? Mind posting a photo? Sounds like your Telly is totally tricked out

We have here E,EX,S,SX and GT Line.
different names but same options in general with few changes depends on different markets.
This photo is from my old post about taillights, I’ll post more pictures later.

Unless I'm wrong, you can only have 2 waypoints when building a route using the navigation system.

SX Prestige..the headlights are ridiculously bright and an annoyance to other divers. We made a trip to Florida last week and just got back to Ohio yesterday. Not only did I have people in the oncoming lanes flash me, but quite a few that I passed turned on their brights after I passed them I'm guessing as payback thinking I had mine on. Not everybody knows that fog lights on means low beams are on. I'm going to try and adjust them lower to hopefully alleviate some anger from others sharing the road.
I have the same issue.

I get this, too. Actually had one driver start following me in some kind of road rage act. The size of the cup holders actually annoys me. Had to buy a new Hydro Flask as the one I have is too large (although my original one does fit in my wife's Subaru CrossTrek cup holders)

I use a "bottle pro cup holder" for my 40oz hydro flask. It works well for me. As far as the road rager goes, that's why I have a dashcam installed in all my cars.

Interesting about the cup holder. Just looked it up. I also have a 40oz and bought a narrower 24oz so it could fit. Any stability issues using that add on cup holder? That’d be my primary concern

I have very little annoyances, but I will list them nonetheless:

1. Just wish the rear could be balanced with quad exhaust tips. I know why they can’t be, but I just think it would look so much better.

2. I wish that it had walk away locks instead of having to press the door handle or use the key fob to lock the doors.

3. I wish that KIA would build these with screens inside the front lower end to avoid potentially having a rock puncture the AC coil. I know some have mitigated this by using screens on the outside, but it would look much cleaner to have them inserted behind the facia and not in front of it.

Aside from that, I am truly enjoying this vehicle and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for an SUV in its class.

I like your #2 idea a lot.

I would like the car to come with an optional accessory dash cam or an outlet in the rear view mirror to support one.
