New Member - Just Ordered a 2021 Telluride SX

Hi All,

I finally bit the bullet and placed an order for a 2021 Telluride SX. We went with SWP and Black Leather Interior. Now we just have the 6-9mo wait to pick her up.

I did a lot of research on Snow White Pearl vs Glacial White Pearl before buying. Everyone on this forum seemed to think that GWP was going to be replacing SWP for the 2021 model year. However, my dealer seemed to think that GWP was only if you were also equipping the Nightfall Edition option. They told me that if you want the satin chrome accents, chrome grille, etc. that you'd have to select SWP.

Were they just un-informed... and is my VIN going to show the build with GWP when it actually comes through? Or have others been able to choose SWP still?

The Telluride will be replacing our 2011 BMW X3. We loved the German engineering and the way it drove, but our family is growing and it was time for something bigger!

Unfortunately your dealer is incorrect. GWP is now the only white being produced. SWP was slated for End of Production in July. GWP was Start of Production in Oct.

Thanks for that information. I figured that was the case but didn’t feel like arguing with them over the phone. Lol.
