  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The financing rebate is national, however. Interesting how they are doing this.

Just texted them. They said that lease cash is regional, the 4400 applies to the 7 states around us.
I wonder if that is why I saw on a different post about a week or so ago that someone leased a Telluride out of state. When he got his first bill his payment was $50 higher.. maybe has to do with this

Ummmm... im looking at the national add.. looks like TX and MO have have the same incentives... something isn’t adding up.. but hey.. if they will give it to you.. take it.

I believe they will be charged back any errors

Just reporting what I’m told. I’ve already got mine, wishing I’d leased.

If there’s anyone that wants to put it to the test, message me and then report back when you sign the papers. Guess we would know for sure then.

FYI $2800 for 36 months is live on the lease calculator now on the website at least in my area (OH). So is 4100 for 24.

They must have changed one or both of the factors in the lease formula because my projected monthly payment is slightly more now with the $2800 lease cash than what it was when lease cash was $2000. Money factor and/or residual % must have changed.

That's odd. I used 64% residual, and .00199MF which were the highest residual and lowest MF available on the SX on lease hacker and got the same pre-tax number as on the website with 0 down. Maybe the website calculation was off before for a different reason?

Are you using the Kia lease calculator? I ask because there aren't places to put in your own RV and MF. I ordered an SX/AWD/Prestige in Florida.

I used MF .00199, RV 64, dealer fee $695 and got $507 without sales tax using lease hacker. Using the Kia calculator I get $543 without sales tax. I used MSRP for car, $2000 down and $2800 lease cash both ways. Since the $ didn't change, a possible reason the Kia calculator is higher is for their MF to be higher and/or the RV lower. We can't see the Kia factors. OR..... since Kia knows my zip code it could include the sales tax. But I doubt that.

I believe that Kia's lease calculator just takes the "total lease charges" including disposition fee and others and divides by the term. This would be different (should be more) from a traditional lease calculator using money factor and residual calculations.

I think Kia does this because the sales tax is applied differently in some states (sales tax is not included in their calculator) - like here in Texas we have to pay tax on the vehicle sales price rather than the lease cost. Maybe it's also a way to be more transparent on total costs?

continuously being lied to about the Kia financing available with the $1500 financing rebate. First was told 4.9 at 60 months then 3.9 at 60 months once they run my credit... Their website literally shows 1.9 at 48 months and in the fine print says 2.9 at 60 months. About to call him out on his crap.

Dealers often try to mark up the rate, pocket some additional profit by not giving you the ‘buy rate’.

What was your credit score?

What was your credit score?
Haven't let them run it yet. We are still talking deal. Credit score is 750-800. They are telling me first lowest special rate with the 1500 rebate is 4.9 at 60 then changed to 3.9 at 60. They are lying just trying to get me to take a higher rate so they can make more money off interest.

Could assume you have a 687 or what ever local credit is. I would just find another dealer.

I paid 39k for Telluride S AWD . I personally don't feel it's better deal.
