Louisiana Members With Orders In Houma

Is there any members who ordered a Telly from Barker Kia, Houma, La.
I ordered SX-P/T Snow White Pearl, Dune Brown Napa on Feb. 21, 2020. Put $500.00 Down and told about 4 months for delivery.
Was told by Dealer a couple weeks ago that there was one other SX-P on order in front of me and that we would probably be moved
to a MY21 and that it would be "probably about" Sept. to Oct. at earliest. No VIN & No Order # yet.
Whats y'all experiance with Barker Kia?

I haven't had any experience with Barker yet, but I'm curious: Did they have significant markup over MSRP?

Although it hasn't been 4 months just yet, do you have updates about your Telly?

No markup, They quoted me at MSRP and I put 500 down. The latest is they guess eta end of Oct. to early Nov.

I just sent him an email earlier today for an update. He must have been off since he didn't get right back to me. He is good about a quick response. Probably get something from him Monday. I'll post any update. Did y'all order yet?

Update, Accepted into KFOS 08/20/20 For the NF Order. ETA late Oct to Early Nov. This will put us at 9 months wait since first order.

Not quite yet. I'm debating between going with Kia in Houma (Brad is whom I've been communicating with) and Kia of Muncie.

Totally sorry for the super noob question but what does KFOS stand for?

KIA Sales/Ordering System That's when the factory accepts the dealerships order into the system and the vehicle is now in line to be built. Once it is built a VIN number is assigned to that vehicle and it is ready to be shipped to Dealer

Also, semi-related: I bit the bullet and went with Barker Kia in Houma. They didn't charge over MSRP and took $500 for the deposit (non-refundable though). The wait should be about 3 months per one of the sales guys, Brad over there.

Kia of Muncie sounded awesome though. If I had the 6-8 months (yes, that's what they mentioned) patience to wait, I would have easily gone with them. Refundable deposit too!

What did you order? Did they tell you how many orders are ahead of you?
Brad will probably call you when it goes into KFOS and update you on ETA
We hoping our VIN will show up in Failcat any day now.
Ditto on Muncie, from what I have seen on here they offer the best price on extended warranty.

Eta is first week of Nov.
Gonna be long 2 weeks wait

I was told it'd be about 3 months before I see mine. I have about 15 folks in front of me for now.
