• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Weathertech apparently doesn't believe is a covid economy huh?! Haha No shame in their game.
When did they come out with this nonsense, after Elon's flame thrower

$1500 and an advertisement on the bottom... geez. Where's the hashtag?

With this item from WeatherTech, if you're in a major rear-end crash, at least you can take comfort knowing your license plate frame would probably survive.

Your post is hilarious.
But if we’re comparing brands that manufacture things for people with more money than brains, I see your WT license plate and raise you the entire Yeti catalog of products.
(Oh yeti fan boys - and I bet there’s one or two of you on this forum - tell me I’m wrong)

Sure would be nice to see WeatherTech take the same amount of money that it took to create/manufacture a license plate holder that only a few people would purchase to maybe make something more practical like, I don't know, Telluride Side Window Deflectors (inside the window channel). :D

$3K for the front and rear set... less than some dealer markups. Just sayin’.

Go to their website and let them know. Sign up for updates. Its close to the timeline they gave me months ago so we'll see what they come out with. 👍

We shouldn't be so hard on WT, they are playing the odds. By putting "only 18 were made" at worst they are basically saying they estimate there are 18 filthy rich suckers out there. That's a compliment in my book! If the price tag was the same with higher volume they are estimating there are more foolish out of touch people. Anyone buying it assuming they are buying 1 of 18 and that actually carries value probably doesn't recognize that the words limited edition mean very little. If you think it does, I have some limited production steroids era baseball cards I'd like to sell you. WT probably didn't actually manufacture 18 and even if they don't sell them they can melt it down back to raw material. If anything they get more traffic to their site by getting people to send out WTF links to their page. That's got to be worth more than $27K in lost revenue if they didn't sell one. It's a more sound strategy than: "we lose money on every sale, but we make it up on volume."

or, you know, all weather mats for the Telluride (not just liners)
