Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. What is this phenomenon about of replacing or covering the Kia emblems to make it look like a Lexus emblem?

Depends on what you mean by 2021.
The new K7/Cadenza will launch sometime in Korea next year and by the time we get it (likely end of 2021; that is, if we get it) will be a 2022MY.
Here’s what it may look like on the Telluride: Black Edition
It looks like NASA font.
I think changing logos and branding probably requires a bunch of legal declarations and protections in each country they plan to use it which could be why it takes longer.
If the report is that the new badge will show up on the Cadenza MY2022, then that likely means CY2021.
The Korean K round badge is the original and dates further back to the company’s roots before Lexus was even a brand. Possibly the 1940s when it was Kyungsung Precision Industry. One of the reasons they switch to oval was to match the Ford badge when Kia manufactured cars for Ford.

Spy shot was from very recent K7. Which should roll out early next year. I am sure plethora 3rd party will be available if oem ones do not retrofit.
Nice work on the mock-up.
Definitely not in my future. Too futuristic for my taste on this design.

To folks of my generation KIA means: Killed In Action.
Very true. I never understood in the 90s when they first entered the US why they used a common military acronym with such a somber meaning on the logo. They should have strayed from the Ford Festiva oval more and used a design. Sort of like selling the Nova in Mexico.
