Tomorrow is the ETA for the Telluride I ordered on May 28. I am surprised that some people on this site think they ordered a vehicle but when it came it was not exactly what they ordered. That is not an order but it’s what a dealer sold you from his allocation. The higher the MSRP the better for a dealer.

My VIN had exactly what I ordered, no more, no less.

ETA is showing 11-23 no name attached... so not a custom order but if you put a deposit on one that is already coming to dealership than can be normal

Interesting with no name attached. This fits what we ordered (custom ordered) to a "T." If they had an allocation in the system at the time of our order, assume they could "customize" that allocation to match our specs. In any event, the date matches what my dealer told me earlier this week (albeit, they said no VIN created at that time) and the window sticker has the exact features/colors we selected. Appreciate the help!

My order was entered into KFOS during the September allocation. Don’t exactly remember the date probably around 9/23?

Originally the order the “body-in” was 10/29 with an original delivery date of 12/12. My wife was thinking I was crazy refreshing failcat 2x a day, but I had a feeling it would show up soon. As I understand it the VIN is assigned by KIA within a day or so from the body in date and saw the production figures showing steady SX-P numbers.

I’ve also read that failcat picks can pick up the VIN around a week from that date.

Finally, I live about as far from Georgia one can and still be in the continental US (western WA). So the shipping times (train + transport truck) are extended up here. I could easily see your car delivered to you around the same time as mine (if not earlier)!
