Hi all,

After obsessing over reviews and the build tools, I finally placed an order for 21 SX AWD in Moss Green + Butterscotch interior to replace my wife's CRV.

I originally placed the order with Ron Bouchard Kia in Western Mass, but after reading some posts on this forum about some dealers requiring specific financing packages, I followed up with the Ron Bouchard and found out that they would require financing at a high interest rate, would not allow me to take advantage of any Kia financing offers, and would not allow me to pay cash. I cancelled the order, and at the recommendation of folks on this forum, placed the order with Lev Kia in Framingham.

Congratulations on the order and a great decision to go with Lev. I'm glad you cleared up your financing questions with Ron Bouchard before you were too far in to the process.

Thanks! Bouchard said to expect 2-3 months for delivery after they placed the order next week, but Lev said it could be 4-5 months. This should probably go in a different forum, but is there really that much of a difference between dealers? Or is it simply a matter of being optimistic vs realistic?

Congratulations! Exactly the combo I got about 2 weeks ago and LOVE it. I decided not to get the Prestige package because 1) I didn't feel the options that would be added were worth $2300 (to me) and 2) I really liked the Butterscotch leather and that option goes away when you upgrade to Prestige (I'm not knocking Prestige, please don't misunderstand). I also love that, with the Butterscotch leather you get a black interior and headliner (all other non-Prestige leather options come with a light interior and headliner) - I really love the black headliner!

As far as wait time, dealer size and allocations make the difference, but FWIW it seems Lev tells everybody 18-22 weeks, and then hopes it’s quicker.
