• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is the Telly an old person car? A young person car? Both? Neither?

I was driving home today listening to Pink Floyd and thought, "Wait now, I'm clearly super old and I love this car....Are some/most Telly owners as old as me?" Lol.

For the record, it was Wish You Were Here and yah, I bought the album when it came out. Though I was just a kid, I swear.

I guess that depends on what you consider super old, there was a time when I thought 30 year olds were super old. Now I’m 29. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I have seen a lot of tellurides around where I live and they all look to be 30+ for sure.

Actually I have. 😂 26’s. I think the 20s are tasteful.

Aren’t young people (high school, college, college grads) interested in sport sedans/hatchbacks/coupes? Don’t think I recall seeing anybody rolling in a three row family hauler back in the days.

I had a R/T Durango when I was 24 🤷🏾‍♂️ But I already had two kids and a wife by that time.

You're just a kid! I haven't seen any around where I live, which made me curious.

Funny thing is, this is the largest car I've ever owned. And my only kid is at university now. I've got a family hauler post-family.

I was going to say young person car, but then realized I'm not young anymore.

My guess is this car is meant for soccer moms(no disrespect intended) who doesn't want to be caught dead in a minivan. But the Telly is loved(more) by their husbands. :D

also depends on your definition of an “old person car”. In my mind, the epitome of an old person car would be a hot rod or an Oldsmobile/Cadillac from the 80’s or earlier.

I’ve seen elderly people drive anything from mclarens to s class to subaru outbacks though, so I would not be surprised if any super old people drive the Telluride either.

I'm 54, switched from a CR-V after 13 years. It is a family hauler, which I'm quite happy with. Youngest daughter says its a boy car (that my other one wasn't); oldest near-teen daughter has already claimed it will be her car when she gets her license (so it must be kinda' cool), and then in the same breath she says she wants a Jeep Wrangler. :)

I wouldn't have been able to afford it when I was "young."

I just looked in my mirror and saw an octogenarian driving my Telluride SX AWD with Towing Package!! I look forward to towing my No Bo 19.5 Travel Trailer around our beautiful country.

Yeah... this car is my minivan upgrade now that kids are old enough to not ruin everything immediately. So I’d say it’s a soccer mom car but like a nice one. Also, when I was “young” I couldn’t have afforded this car.

My teenage son is happy that my CR-V has been replaced with the Telluride. It seems to be a step up in the cool factor.

Telly is the coolest soccer mom's car that husbands want to drive.
