If you’re ready for some UI changes, the Nov 2020 map update is out today (for those with the 10.25” screen).

It has the neon-style look (like the K5 and other recent Kias) and a new home Screen.

There are also now user profiles.
You can supposedly connect them with your UVO account in the app, but I haven’t had time to see if that is even working yet.

These are the home screen icons. Main home screen is the mostly blank one I already posted.

Update is downloaded via Mac or PC to a USB drive.

Pretty cool. I am noticing that it only lists the 2020 Telluride. Any idea if the 2021 requires a different software download?

I won’t offer any guarantees, but the 14.5 update from late August also only showed 2020 and many forum members installed it without issue on their 2021. I don’t see why there would be any problem, everything is the same between the two model years.

Just to be sure and to see if Kia recommends it I sent an email to customer support to ask if we can apply the update to the 2021, I'll let you know if they respond.

As said above, I've installed v14.5 on my 2021 right off the dealer lot successfully. Headunit is the same on 2021(GEN5W), so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I will be updating tomorrow so I will let you know if I have any issues.

I just installed it on my 2021 EX-P without any issues. The update made some major changes to the user interface, especially to the radio displays.

Check in the “guest” profile. I don’t use the radio so I can’t confirm myself.

Still deciding... I think I'm going to like having multiple user profiles so my wife and I can each have our own radio presets. It looks like each user profile can be paired with a different cell phone, although I haven't tried that yet. I think each profile also has its own GPS address book, which could be good or bad. I'd like to have the option to share GPS address books among profiles--it could be I just haven't found that option yet. I don't think I like the new radio screens so far and, as #ksyrah mentioned, all my radio presets disappeared. I think the new way station information is displayed is a bit harder to work with. I'm sure I'll get used to soon, though.

Not yet... usually Mapnsoft (their site where you can buy a USB stick if you can’t download yourself) has a detailed thing showing the changes and updates. The update isn’t live on that site quite yet, though.

I went there and found the navigation updater notification for November. I ran the updater install and when I launched it opened my browser to log in to the web portal. Obviously there aren't any files there but when I put my UID and PW into the tool I got "no registered vehicles found". The updater also is wonky in the the buttons aren't displaying so when I try Guest login, it doesn't do anything there either.

Where else can I get the 14.1 update so I can copy to my USB stick?

This is what the radio looks like now? Looks like a shitty winamp skin from the 90s. Do you have to use this UI or can you stick with the current style?
