• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This is my first Non American Brand Vehicle. Major selling point for me was that it was Designed in California and Built in Georgia.

Many companies(one yellow tool company comes to mind) will use the term "Assembled in USA with global materials". Does that make it American or Global? In this day in age, does it make a difference? Made in USA, with or without American made parts does not hold any weight for me. Telluride is a good car no matter where it was made. Palisade is made in Korea and it is just as highly regard as the Telluride. But to answer your question, it is a Korean car built in USA.

Looked right at my Dewalt XR tool bag. And started chanting USA USA USA. LoL happy Thanksgiving

it is a Korean brand. The car is made in America from American components for the most part. Only parts that are identical to the palisade are delivered to USA.

Another question with the reverse scenario. Are Chinese built/assembled Apple iPhones American or Chinese smartphones?

each product and / or brand is unique. The iPhone is an American brand, made in China from Chinese and Korean components. There is nothing American about the iPhone except the brand, technology and idea.

Assembled in U.S. 50% of components are from U.S. and Canada, 45% from S. Korea. I think that makes the car more American than Korean. Plus, U.S. home office is Irvine, CA, and Irvine is may maiden name! 😉 But it’s still a Korean company.
