Weird that the renamed driver talk as the name was pretty good oh well passenger talk it is.

Not that it’s super important, but they renamed that two versions ago with the 14.0 (April 2020) update.

Yup ALWAYS Do the quick update. Too bad they dont tell you this when downloading. When I ordered the v14 USB stick earlier this year(when they used to not do free downloads) the manual it came with said to do the quick update. When I just did this update I don't remember seeing the option to chnage it to the slower updates (probably since I was already running on a somewhat new version)

I am still on the fence about the color that is used for the icons and fonts. It is a bright magenta, (the same color that T-Mobile uses in their Ads)
Being able to create two separate user profiles is a nice feature. We can each add our favorite stations in our own profile. I think you can also save navigations under your own profile, which makes it easier then having one long list to have to scroll through.

PS - Sadly Android Auto is still not full screen. Although, you can display, the time, weather, compass or media on the screen at the same time, which put the wasted space to good use.

This is what the radio looks like now? Looks like a shitty winamp skin from the 90s. Do you have to use this UI or can you stick with the current style?

Lol! you ruined it for me. I just saw it for the first time and I was like "ooh McIntosh audio" Now you go and ruin it with the (highly accurate) Winamp thing. Jeez....

I just did the update and sadly hadn't read the last few pages first. The radio keeps getting worse. The first one with the adjustable presets was much better and the large Sirius icons. I really wish I hadn't done this update. The coloring and the home screen too, I really don't like ANY of it. :-( Hopefully, the next one is better (3-4 months?)

I downloaded this version to my computer, but I might be leaning towards waiting for the next version... I'd still like to see an official change log.

I regret doing the update. The map on the Home Screen is essentially useless. I was very curious about the custom users, which I love having the name. I even ended up regretting that based on the images for the user. They need to fix the Home Screen if they keep this format:

Home Screen:
1. More color choices
2. More customization to the Home Screen for weather and xm.
3. Custom images for the user.
4. Map on Home Screen: not sure here. Maybe brighten it slightly and provide some additional info

overall the Home Screen makes a a car with a very high perceived value look cheap.

I'm not liking this new update either. Am I misremembering, or didn't the home screen used to have ability to stack three widgets across the home screen? (Like Map-Radio-Weather)? Is that now gone? All my home screen has is weather on the left and a huge amount of wasted realestste. The radio interface - at first I thoughht I liked it, but after using it for a while, I actually hate it. The previous radio screen was much easier to navigate. Also I'd rather have screen art or station info in the center rather than those huge vacuum tubes (I thought it look cool when I first saw it, but the more I see it the more I don't like it). It's almost like they didn't think about any human factors.

Reading here makes me think this is yet another not well thought out and overall botched software update from Kia. I've done 2 now on my 2020 Telluride and each one has removed very good features that I loved and used regularly. I learned my lesson and definitely will not be updating to this crappy looking UI.

Ditto. Lets get a petition going to ask Kia to give us back that functionality (and give us an option for a radio interface that looks good with radio info/ album art, and easier to use UI.

If I could return to the original version I had when I drove the vehicle off the lot in June, 2019 I would. Although, I do have the split screen while using Android auto which is good but at the cost of other features removed that I wish I still had.

I don't understand. I never have to deal with sounds of nature. Does it turn on all the time for you? Do you listen via bluetooth or carplay/AA? Try tune to a radio station first, then your BT/CP/AA. When it disconnects from BT/CP/AA, it will fall back to radio instead of SoN.

Do you know if this update is good for a 2021 six?
