  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi and thanks for all your advice!!! My dream is a Telluride sx. I love the butterscotch interior but I wonder which will look the newest longest? I have only had grey and I think its too light and will get dirty too easy. My dealer has been great, however all SX's on his lot are 47-49. I'm not trying to be picky but I was hoping to pull this off for 43-45 ish is that even possible? I realize many dealers are overcharging and his are just really upgraded so I want to be realistic but..... still I can't help but wonder if I can do better before I think about downgrading.

Well....all seat leather colors will show dirt and wear faster than black. I love some of the lighter colors and have had em on previous vehicles and ALWAYS regretted it about two years into ownership.....black simply doesn't show the impact of blue jean dye and other stuff and as a result ends up looking "new" longer. Regarding price....I paid a bit over 48 for a fully loaded 2020 SX P.

MSRP is still a good deal, minus any incentives (finance rebate, military rebate). $47-49K for an AWD SX is reasonable at this time.

Based on what I'm reading, I guess I'd ask what features are driving you to the SX vs the EX trim level. You can get the EX Premium option if you'd like the 20" wheels, LED headlights, 2nd row captain's chairs, etc. that get you closer to a base SX at a bit of a lower price point. There are still features that are only available on the SX though including, I believe, the butterscotch leather seats. Of course, you can order a base FWD SX with no additional options in the price range you mention, but there will be additional costs to the end price such as freight, tax, title, license, and document fees that may not show on the Kia build tool.

Just what I needed to hear!! I have never had black because I live in texas... but with ventilation seats it would be a plus!! Thank you!

Thank you... honestly it’s the blind side cameras:). I even wondered if you could add those aftermarket.

I don't know enough to help you there, but if the blind side cameras are a hard requirement then it sounds like the SX model is the only option for the initial build and your budget may unfortunately have to stretch. Good luck!
