• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone else gotten the battery discharge notifcation? I know that it is because of my dashcam. I hardwired it to the 10amp slot. Did I do something wrong or is it normal to get that notification? The dashcam stays on even when the car is off.

Did your hardwire kit come with voltage cutoff switch? If so, set it above 12v. If your hardwire kit does not have cutoff, find a wire kit that does or invest in LiFePo battery back up. Also check your settings in dash cam so it goes to sleep for parking mode after few minutes rather than stay on all the time.

I get it too w/ my dashcam that records when off. But I also had it when I was listening to music through the car when engine is off. No biggie, just annoying

So i found that it does have a low voltage cut off so that the car can still be started. Good to know, thanks!

Yeah I was wondering if the car would protect itself

I don't think it's the car but the wiring kit that I used has like a little device/board that cuts off the power if the battery gets too low.

Humm....I recently installed the Blackvue DR900X with a Blackvue Battery B-124X. The DR900 is plugged into the B-124X via 12v connection and the B-124X is plugged into the car via 12v connection (2nd roll). The Blackvue 750X is set up the same way but in the rear with the 2nd B-124X connected to the 12v connection in the cargo area. Next day my key fob isn't working correctly. When I press the lock or unlock on the key fob, it isn't working though I can still unlock the car when I stand close to it with the key fob.

The B-124X connected at the 2nd roll is drained but the rear one is over 90% after 10 hours which is odd. The rear one is also giving me a low voltage warning but car starts up fine. Are the 12v connections different from the middle vs the rear?
