• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Drove 20 miles on black, back Massachusetts roads tonight and cluster lights could be dimmed acceptably.
However I definitely think the 10” display doesn’t dim anywhere near dark enough for an unlit road - really hard on the eyes. I’ll need to work on that. Any ideas???

You can have the infotainment screen dim with the instrument cluster lights using settings option.

Thanks, I did know that. Infotainment does dim when you lower the cluster lights via switch on the far left. However, the infotainment screen definitely doesn't dim nearly as much as the speedo and certainly not enough for long drives on totally unlit road driving. You should be able to turn all dash functions down to nearly no light - like my other cars. This is something that could be corrected by Kia with programming.

I also believe there is an option to turn the screen completely off in one of the menus.

I believe there is a brightness setting in there somewhere. If you lower that when it's brighter, it will dim even further..find a happy medium
