2020 kia telluride not heating at idle

I have done everything with the thermostats nd hoses I can’t seem to find a fix when my wife’s Kia is frozen in the morning it absolutely won’t defrost without driving it stays cold at idle until you drive it for a while then gets very warm until you idle again.
 
Well, if the engine is started from cold and is running, it is heating up. Thermodynamics is funny that way. I have noticed, though, on cold days (below freezing) a remote start and its paltry 10 minutes of running just brings the engine up to the first pip on the temp gauge and the heater hardly contributes to warming the car. Apparently the engine is quite efficient at idle.

It’s not the fact it’s cold for a short time one vent blows slightly warm air and the rest literally blow only cold air I could run it all day and they blow only cold air so cold that they won’t defrost the windshield

Option two might be the heater system. Assuming it's like most cars, there are flappers in there that route the air according to the heater settings, probably vacuum controlled. Try all the settings and see what you get from the various vents both at idle and when driving. Can you hear the heater fan? Mine is pretty noisy. If no noise maybe the fan is not running and you are getting ram air when driving?

I'm bereft of experience with the Telly heater. Albeit most likely the HVAC system doors are controlled by "stepper motors" Most modern systems also run a blend of hot and cold (blend door) to achieve the desired output.
I'd like to think (I've been wrong a few times in my life...) that the service campaign, changes the door strategy to make more warm air blend in?

Albeit, sounds like a problem BMW (and others) had for a long time. Lack of enough hot coolant flow into the heater core at idle speed. Subsequent models had a small booster pump attached to the heater inlet line.
Problem solved.

Not an issue at speed owing, to increased water pump (increased engine RPM) speed.
