• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... FOR SALE 2020 Telly EX FWD 21k miles like new

Good luck, but that seems pretty high cost-wise... just my opinion.

You’re going to be just better off selling it to Carvana or Carmax. To the highest bidder.. even though I know you are trying to do something good and offer it to someone else here. With all these crazy mark ups and wait time as well. Best of Luck👍🏽

Hi. I'm considering selling my 2021 SX, 18xxx miles. Do you mind telling me how long it took you to sell yours and what you got for it? My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer, and the medical bills are piling up.
Thank you!

@dozers_mom sorry about your husband. Hang in there!

We sold our telly for just under $41k, which is what we were asking. It was a perfect EX with 21k miles, but history of a small parking lot ding in the rear bumper cover when it was new. In hindsight, I should have just sucked up my pride and paid the couple hundred bucks for the replacement lower bumper cover myself rather than insisting their insurance pay for their mistake. We initially listed in facebook (limited response) craigslist (limited response) then a couple days later on autotrader and here. Everyone serious who contacted us was a dealer, remarkably. Our $41k ask was based on KBB private party value, and autotrader said we weren't asking enough when we listed it. Carvana lowballed us at $34k, likely due to ding that showed up on the carfax. Carmax offered $40k. Multiple dealers offered in the mid to high $30k range, and several made offers right at $40k. The dealer who ended up buying it came down from Bristol to get it and had it listed on their website within two days for $46k, which was significantly more than we paid for our new 2022! We sold it within 5 days, IIRC, and they sold it in about a week, and I have no idea what they ended up retailing it for. All that said, I would be very surprised if we could get that price again today. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate the info. I have a 2021 SX w/ around 18,000 miles with no damage, no accidents. The original color is black copper, but I had it wrapped in red. I have offers from CarGurus, Carmax, and a couple of others ranging from $47,000 - $49,000. KBB was actually the highest at $50,300. I've talked to the dealer here, and they offered me $48,500, which is pretty much in line with everything else. As much as I don't want to part with it, it is just a car.
