• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This Forum has so much more information than any other group or forum. I feel it is best to direct people here to gather way more information that just one screen shot like when giving out the information on the 2021 thread.

Thanks as always,

Okay link is up.. will be off here for a little. I have several clients to call.

Well this will be interesting, I'm wondering which of the remaining 2020's will still be built then? My dealer has not reached out to me yet, my original ETA was June 8th, and a few weeks ago was bumped to June 26th. I'm wondering if the ETAs originally scheduled for early June will still be a 2020? Who knows. I've emailed my dealership for some (hopeful) clarification on all of this. I'm really starting to wonder what I got myself into with all this, lol. (I know it's not anyone's fault as to why this is happening, still doesn't make it less frustrating overall, and not just for customers, but obviously for dealers especially!)

I'm glad I only joined the Telly bandwagon...ohh...about 2 weeks ago. My decision to sit tight and put a deposit down on a 2021, as many of you have advised to do so would be my best, lowest stress option. For those of you that are in limbo right now I can't even imagine what is going through your mind...waiting 4-5-6 months and no vehicle. Wild!

So after reading that email again, it sounds like 2020 models that were marked as ‘sold’ will still be built?

Yes no matter what. Majority will stay 2020’s some moved to 2021’s

So after reaching out to my dealer, they claimed that they were told on Monday that they were pumping out vehicles this week at the KMMG factory, and that they were shut down only yesterday. I got a feeling my dealership isn’t the ‘sharpest’, considering we’ve seen literal updates from KMMG on Monday that they were closed this week. They also told me that it looks like mine will be switched to a 2021, and they’d honor my pricing we already discussed. In happy they’ll honor that pricing, but I’m not at all confident if they know what’s really going on with my order. She did mention it looks kind my new ETA is early July...

Do the ones that were switched to 2021s still have ETAs? My dealer seems to think mine will be a2021, but told me it looks like my new ETA is early July. I’m so freaking confused.
My dealer sent me this:
Hey Eric,

Yes, everything that is not currently on the ground and has not been built already will be a 2021!

Some regions are effected differently so this is possible although ETA would not be available yet on 2021.. Looks like Kia will give us ETA and pricing early next month

.

I'm in a similar situation and I'm just gonna take the position that it will show up when it shows up. Its out of my control so I'll just stay informed as best I can by way of the great resources here from some really helpful and honest dealers here.

I’m guessing then if they have an ETA of early July, they’re either completely guessing that or maybe I have a 2020 MY still coming? Who the heck knows. I’m trying to be as patient as possible, but with another baby on the way at tend of June, and my wife and I having to move in early July to the other side of the state for a new job, I’m feeling stressed to the max as it already is!
