2020’s Latest News and crossover time 2021

Do the ones that were switched to 2021s still have ETAs? My dealer seems to think mine will be a2021, but told me it looks like my new ETA is early July. I’m so freaking confused.
My dealer sent me this:
Hey Eric,

Yes, everything that is not currently on the ground and has not been built already will be a 2021!

This is the kind of ish I’m talking about. But as soon as I say something you can bet someone will come racing to defend Kia. I fully understand that much of this is out of their control and I get that no car company would’ve predicted the demand but that doesn’t change anything about communication from Kia to the dealers and ultimately to the customer. I feel they’ve only made the situation worse by being less transparent. IMO, nobody can fully defend how they’ve handled this entire situation but you know what they say about opinions.

The blackout package pricing was leaked a few months back and it was approximately $1,700. I suspect we will see a $500-1,000 increase across the board for all trims. Guessing the SXP will see the biggest price increase as that is where the strongest demand is.

All depends on how sweet the new wheels are...that is honestly the biggest upgrade...

However since I made a change to the order to add Tow the dealer instead of change ordered another Telluride so that has a ETA of July so question is will that be a 2021 at this point. We are in no hurry as with Covid 19 no one is driving for work.

Dealer has to inform you. Or I can but only after you have a Vin number

Makes good sense but the dealer said he ordered him a new Telly since he wanted the Tow Package...I thought the ones converting over are being done by Kia themselves, leaving the dealer to make the phone call to the buyer.

Apparently they placed an order.. then placed an additional order to add Tow Package.(this was done months ago) One just got delivered without the Tow Package.. the other is still incoming and scheduled for July with Tow.

Also think the question was is it a 2020 or 2021... not that the dealer ordered a 2021.. dealer has to inform each person individually
