• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thinking of adding a tow kit to our car. Wife wants the Kia brand, so ideally I would want the 2021 kit that has the 7 pin harness. Is this doable?

Anything is doable, but if you have a 2020, wires would have to be run from the front to the back of the vehicle.

I ordered a 7 pin kit retrofit from e-trailer and installed it myself. Running the wiring up to the battery was the hardest part but only because I don't have a lift, had to crawl under the vehicle. But it works great, looks like factory installed unit. Also got the Curt wireless brake controller so I didn't have to install a unit inside the car. I haven't been out with a trailer yet but will do so in June.
