• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2021 Official Color Breakdown

Is the Dune Brown going to be available on the SXP for Gravity Grey? I thought I saw that it was a option from the 2021 training material.

I wonder why they don’t do Everlasting Silver with anything other than black. I would love to have it but want a lighter interior. I guess I’ll settle for gravity gray....
You can get everlasting silver with black (SX or SX-P), butterscotch (SX), or dune brown (SX-P).

Guess it depends on your definition of “lighter”... the seats would indeed be lighter in butterscotch or dune, but the headliner would now be black, which might make the interior feel darker. The true lighter option, gray, is not available with this color.

Yes, it is. Kia may not make it easy, but it is possible to decipher and confirm with these documents Stephen has kindly posted above.

I would take either one! Thanks! I couldn’t decipher to see it as an option...I just saw black, especially since all the other colors showed 3 combos on the SX except ES only having the option with the black, no brown or gray option. I don’t have to have gray, I have a tan (I guess you can call it a butterscotch) now and I like it.
Looks like I’m upgrading to an SX!

Did they change the towing to a seven pin from the four pin harness as I was promised so that it can tow 5K?

Yep!

So don’t get a headache reading this haha. But the Opt group overrides the interior color Black.
So that’s why Dune Brown isn’t listed on interior color side.

These are Dune Brown Opt Group

Opt 22 Prestige without Tow
Opt 27 Prestige with Tow
Opt 42 Prestige with Nightfall Edition
Opt 47 Prestige with Nightfall Edition with Tow

Thought you could get Everlasting Silver SX with an interior color other than BLACK. Didn't that change for 2021?

See post 22 above. Based on training materials, Everlasting Silver can be ordered with Butterscotch (Black interior with ITJ option) on SX or Dune Brown (also listed as Black interior). It's always been this way - Butterscotch and Dune Brown are listed as options with Black interior rather than interior colors. The "Brown" interior is for Espresso Brown. See another post above. It's more confusing than it needs to be.

It really is. In what’s posted in this thread, everlasting silver only has one color of black listed and nothing under notes so, I hope my dealer realizes this. We all don’t get dealers who understand it nearly as thoroughly and completely as we find in this forum. I’ll let you know if he tries to tell me any different.

So, the lack of anything next to "Black" in the "Remarks" column is a good thing - it would seem to mean it can be ordered with any of the options packages. Note how Sangria color on SX has a restriction to "010, 015, 030, 035" only - which are the standard, towing, blackout and blackout w/ towing option groups. So, it would appear that Sangria can't be ordered with Butterscotch or Dune Brown seats nor any Prestige package. That corresponds to the chart in the "2021 Training Materials" thread.

Now that I read all this from Kia, I understand why many sales guys don't understand all the options. I mean Kia couldn't even decide on Black Edition or Nightfall before publishing window stickers. And the pricing info was discovered via window stickers before the communications to the dealers! And, pics were discovered well before anything official - adding to the confusion. It seems that corporate could definitely communicate better to their franchisees.

Thanks a million for the clarification. Much appreciated!!

Oh btw just saw rear Entertainment System is an Port Installed Option(Available to add when building)
we were highly considering a Honda Pilot because of their built-in video screen on the interior ceiling. I told my wife yesterday, I bet Kia adds that when they do a large refresh for 2022 or 23'......le'sigh ☹
oh well🤷‍♂️
Curious to see if this is something cool or just some tablet holder mounts

So would the NPJ override and allow dune brown seats on an Everlasting Silver exterior with the SX Prestige?

So it looks like for the new white color interior colors for the EX are limited to black or gray for 2021 models

Yes, it would appear so from the training manual. Option code 22 without tow package, 27 with tow. Stephen posted all the option codes above. In the color chart, there is no restriction next to Everlasting Silver. Again, this matches communication from training documents - but the real proof will happen be when they can be ordered.

You have never been able to get anything other than black or gray interiors on the EX trim. No changes here.

I edited original post that this is the more technical breakdown.. really post was to show that both whites are being built but Snow White Pearl is going away in a month or so.. Glacial White will take over then.

This may help some clarify color options for some of you....

And still no information on how the two whites differ, right? I'm hoping if my order gets put in right when the Kia ordering system opens, i'll still get the snow white color but maybe not....
