Change "Anyone" to "Everyone " Do a little digging and you shall see.Anyone with a Nightfall edition noticing spotting on the chrome trim around the windows? Im considering in getting it wrapped in black to hide it!
Kia is having problems with the nightfall trim. I believe they are looking for a different supplier.Anyone with a Nightfall edition noticing spotting on the chrome trim around the windows? Im considering in getting it wrapped in black to hide it!
P&S Professional Detail Products - Xpress Interior Cleaner - Perfect for Cleaning All Vehicle Interior Surfaces of Traffic Marks, Dirt, Grease, and Oil; Works on Leather, Vinyl, and Plastic (1 Gallon) https://a.co/d/1TmMjG5I’m sure this question has been answered before. I scanned this thread to find the answer but didn’t find anything too specific for my needs.
I need to clean my windows every few days. I park in a covered garage but dust still settles on the car. But the windows not being clear bugs me.
What can I use to do a quick wipe down of the windows? Spray bottle with water? I’m more concerned about keeping the windows clear than I am about about applying a sealant. Also picking up these from Amazon.
My other need is to keep the leather seats clean. I have black leather interior and I see everything on the seats and center console. What to do??
Thanks in advance.![]()
I had this issue, got it vinyl wrapped in gloss black where I got my windows tinted and it looks great now. Was worth it to me as I was getting too annoyed at the spotting and took care of it before any chipping occurred as some nightfall owners have experienced.Anyone with a Nightfall edition noticing spotting on the chrome trim around the windows? Interesting, on the 2023s, on the doors? If I did that, that would be the only part I PPF.That's a great idea! I would suggest that anyone with the piano black trim have the shop polish and then use PPF over it to prevent them being scratched. I've seen a few examples where even after a few automatic washes they are terribly scratched.

Does anyone have any preference on the type of window washer fluid to use? My Telly arrived with a blue window washer fluid that leaves streaks and soap everywhere. The notification light has been signaling that my fluid is now low. Perfect time to make the switch.
Forgive this naive question, but does it look like there's a sticker attached to it that should be peeled off after that work is done, or is it more subtle than that?Correct, they weren't able to put PPF on the black trim on the tailgate.

Super helpful. I got a quote of just over $200 for just that. Wonder if it's worth it.Lines on the edge of the edge of the PPF are never invisible. However they are very difficult to see in most cases. Some people choose to get the whole hood done rather than just the leading edge because you can see the line of the edge sitting in the driver's seat. In the first photo, I have the front of the car covered in PPF with th only the leading edge of the hood covered (cost less). In the second and third pics, on the B and C pillars, you don't notice the edge of the film from even a few feet away. You can't see it until you're up close.

Thanks for this. Had oil changed today and unfortunately has them top up with whatever they use—since I’ve had the notification beeping in the car for a while now. But will make a note of this for next time.Bringing this back from the dead... the only thing I use is water and a glug or two of ONR. It won't make a mess of your car or leave spots when you spray.
If course. I use ONR each wash as well. An easy way to explain it is that it makes the water super soft if that makes any sense. I put a small glug in my foam cannon and a good sized glug in my wash bucket. It makes a meaningful difference. Thanks for this.
