• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... If the low beam is working, then the bulb is fine. That's not the problem. (There is only one headlight bulb per side). The issue is most likely with the projector flap mechanism. This is known to fail on 2020s with the factory halogen headlight units. It was initially given a warranty extension, then was later recalled. Supposedly late MY 2020s and later all 2021 and 2022s with these units have an improved heat shield. Doesn't mean they can't fail as well, I guess.

do you know where the projector flap mechanism is located ?

Inside the headlamp unit. According to the recall documents, if the high beam shield gear (“projector flap”) mechanism isn’t functional, the entire headlamp unit needs to be replaced.

This shows how to install a retainer clip to protect the mechanism, but this is only if the headlamp unit is still completely functional.
