• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Wouldn’t it be that right mirror assembly with all the bells and whistles for $592.74 plus tax and shipping and labor if you don’t plan to DIY? The good news is that you appear to have the painted cover in reusable shape.

Yes everything is working fine, I have the pieces that cracked off from the front of the cover. However, to replace the cracked cover of the mirror seems like you need to remove the inside door panel. Now whom can you trust to do this carefully and not break anything else or by mistake leave out a screw or two when placing everything back?
Can anyone suggest a place that can epoxy glue back the pieces, or use a 3D printer to fill the gap?

In my opinion, removing a door panel on a modern car with out breaking 5 cent clips should be a trivial task for a reputable repair shop. I would have no problem doing it myself as most new cars make it easily to repair all the electronics. To make a 3d print they would likely have to take off the mirror to scan in, at that point it will cost you more than just putting in the replacement part.

Thank you for your insight. Where can I find a reputable repair shop in the NYC metro area? My past experience with repair shops wasn't honorable.

The tricky part is how long it takes to get parts nowadays.

I had a good repair experience at this shop, ask for the owner Steve Goldman:

Thanks. Parts seem to be available online. Repair shop a bit out of my way.
