Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I know as I have talked to their sales manager at least 3 or 4 different times over the last year and they are one of the most ridiculous KIA dealerships I think I have ever dealt with. They are oblivious and just believe they can mark these vehicles up $6K, $8K, and $10K+ depending on trim level and they will sell which they eventually do to somebody but I just couldn't fathom paying that additional markup for any vehicle and I love the Telluride very much. I waited 5+ months to get my 2020 SXP locally after ordering even though Ourisman KIA had at least 2 SXPs in stock, 1 which matched my order exactly, that they wouldn't sell for under $10K over MSRP. There Internet Sales Manager called me every month from April 2019 on trying to sell me a SXP but I just laughed at them as the lowest they came down was to about $7K over MSRP after the exact SXP I wanted had sat on their lot for about 6 months
. They eventually sold it but it wasn't going to be to me

Lack of regulations to protect consumers. Imagine if you went to a hospital in this pandemic and they said, well we're in high demand so you need to pay a $10k markup.

No one has to pay markup on a vehicle though. That's someone's choice. Even if it's a poor choice...

That is true. but most things are a choice right... like choosing not to sign up for interest only or balloon mortgages if you can't afford it. Look where lack of regulations got us with that 12 years ago. What I have learnt in my 40 years is most people lack the experience and critical thinking required to fully understand what they are getting into until it's too late.
What I've noticed in the Nova area is that the smaller dealers are more willing to sell at MSRP. Trouble is small dealers have an even smaller supply of tellurides.
I bought my Telluride in November from Leesburg Kia at MSRP.
Global Kia said they're taking orders with $5k over the listed price so also Sansone Kia. Scott Harvey Kia said they will add a premium charge to the new order. I am looking for a dealer in NJ who will take order however I am not interested in paying extra $$$.

I think I was quoted 41K ish by my dealer here in TX wow. If EX-P goes for that then how much for the king SX-P. This is so wrong. This reminds me of those that stashed face mask, sanitizers and were selling them for like 500% more.

Talk to one of these Dealers here selling at MSRP then have it shipped. You will most likely save a lot of money.
