2021 Tellurides some prices and ETAS.

Just to put things into perspective, Kia had the lowest level of inventory among the major brands 2 out of the past 3 months (and last month, they were only narrowly edged out by Subie).

Pretty much the reason why the Palisade outsold the Telluride by a greater than 3:1 margin (being built in Korea, production of the Palisade has been less affected by the pandemic).

We can and have been taking orders.

I was told by two dealerships since KIA is converting over to 2021 Tellurides that Kia isn't accepting orders yet and they would get back to me. Are the orders being accepted by KIA or are they just sitting at the dealership? Thanks!

Sitting at the dealerships - ask the following questions to any potential dealer you want to put a 21 order through:
1. How many people are in front of you for 21 orders going into KiaDealer once it opens
2. How many are they allocated per month
3. A rough ETA of when you could get your hands on your new 21.

I'm telling you right now - 90% will beat around the bush with the first 2 questions...and just answer #3.

You make a good point. There is no reason I can't start asking those questions now and see what kind of response I receive.

I did some research on the dealers in my area (Mass) based on the spreadsheet that is posted here in the forum for production numbers. I found most of those dealers total Telluride production received to date is pretty close to one another. There is one dealer that has received a good number more but I refuse to deal with them. They are just known to be a pain and look to charge over MSRP. My dealer is at MSRP plus any available incentives at time of delivery with a fully refundable $500 deposit to order pending test drive and customer acceptance. That makes the process very easy with the hardest part being the wait.

My EX-P, ordered the first of April got pushed to a 2021. Dealer contacted me this morning; ETA=8-20-20. I can live with that, but hope it doesn't prove to be an optimistic date. No info from dealer on any price increase.

I really hope they are ready for new 2021 allocations & orders for delivery in Sept...

I am right there with you. We can hope! BTW - Our SX-P will same spec as yours - Moss with Dune. I have been telling my wife not to expect it until Oct/Nov, at best.

Wow - that is huge news. Since the tool wasn't updated to pull 2021 data - they started pumping out 2021's without us knowing!!! Cool. Now these are the ones that were 2020 converted units - and they are already being built! This is great news for them opening up for folks like me in the coming weeks!!
