In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2022 for MSRP in Michigan? (Or Northern OH or IN)

Thanks for your reply. Would you mind sharing the dealer you ended up purchasing from in FL?
The site I used was Nowcar.com. They are part of Miami Lakes Kia. I dealt with Nathaly. She was outstanding to deal with. I was able to order exactly what I wanted and I received weekly updates on my order. Their service included curbside delivery to my home on a car transporter. A 5% deposit was required at the time they received their allocation from Kia, not when I got on their list to place an order. This depost allowed me to order exactly what i wanted. I used the configurator on Kia's website to know what I could order and the price.
With all that said, I am not sure they are still doing the MSRP pricing. Knowing what I know now I would certainly get on the website and check. There will be a phone no to call as well to answer any questions but I never used it. i did it all via email and she was very responsive. I never went through all this BS that I read about on this forum.

I liked Kia of Lansing a few years ago, however, will never buy from them again due to their poor business practice of charging over MSRP. One saleswoman quoted me $3K markup and another (a male) told me $1500. I really wanted to buy locally to keep the tax dollars close to home. But no way! Seelye of Battle Creek was a $5k markup! Tiffany at Kia of Saginaw (McDonald) is $995 over. They call it a "dealer incurred cost!" Serra Kia in Washington, MI. has a $499 required add-on. The add-on is an interior/exterior spray (ResistAll). I ended up ordering from Serra Kia. So technically I still paid over MSRP, but at least I got something in return. Although ResistAll is overpriced and unnecessary:)
Hi,

You are right about Tiffany @ Kia of Saginaw (McDonald), their markups are too high, don’t waste your money! Serra Kia has a much better deal with great customer service, give them a call you won’t be disappointed 😊

Grand Blanc Serra Kia and Traverse City Kia are both at MSRP. Purchased our ‘21 in GB at MSRP and have one on order at MSRP in TC. Wait times are longer though and no Costco discount.

Looking to buy Kia Telluride Ex, located at landing MI, any dealership with an MSRP price or a little over MSRP.

They markup now if you aren’t local to their area - 10% I believe. Next closest is Gorley Leep?

Yeah, Lansing. Thank you looks like they don't have any available right now, 7 to 9months wait time if place an order now.

That's the first I've heard of that.

Others with at least a low markup, if not MSRP, would be Serra in Washington Twp. and McDonald Kia in Saginaw. McDonald was charging $995 over MSRP last I heard.

It was a recent change when I had called a couple weeks back.

That is pretty much everyhwere, and has been that way for well over a year. You aren't likely to find one in stock at MSRP.

Just want to clarify. I work for Elhart KIA as the new car sales manager and we are not charging over MSRP. We only did for a short period of time on units "on the ground" AND if you lived outside of Michigan. That was so we could serve our local community and give them a chance at owning one vs shipping it to someone out of state. But right now if you want to place a "request" we are not charging over sticker no matter where you are located.

I will be checking this forum from time to time so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Just purchased '23 from Serra in Washington. MSRP + $600 for paint/interior protection.

We have 2 incoming S AWD 2023's that are not yet reserved. One is Dark Moss the other is Midnight Lake Blue (new color for 2023). Both are at sticker. As of this post they are both available. Call and ask for John and i'll set you up with one of our sales associates to take the reservation for you.
