• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Adds X-Line and X-Pro Trims, Plus More Tech - Car and Driver

I was worried about this but one of the images clearly shows there's a dual sunroof on the X-Pro
I went searching and found an image that showed the dual sunroof as you said. Thanks for the info.

Surprised about several things, but in the end we only now know about what is coming with the X-Pro and X-Line trims, nothing really about the other trims except for hill descent control added to all and shift knob is retained throughout. I could have sworn I saw camo/leaked images where the 2 elongated ovals around the headlights were illuminated in white: my guess is that low non X-whatever trims (ie LX and S) will get the white ovals, and the top trims will get orange. I just cannot fathom Kia getting rid of the distinctive orange LEDs completely for their flagship that put them on the map.

I also hope the TELLURIDE badging across the hood will remain for the non X-whatever trims, I think that is a great look. And that blue color?? :p Dang I like that but only if it is as bright as how it appeared in the indoor photos. Their color lineup really needs work, and a brighter matte-finish blue could be gorgeous (so long as its not exclusive to the X-whatever trims). Also, Kia, thank you for keeping physical buttons for so many important HVAC and Media controls (y)

Looks like the X line gets different roof rails. A little more raised like in their Sorento Line up🤔

I hate it. Praying mine is a 22. I’m number one to be picked. Ordered in September:(

Tellurides have had two glass roof sections since they came out. One is a true sunroof that opens and the other is fixed glass with a sunshade.

I wish they would have left the front end exactly the same. The back end does look better, so that's good. And the interior is nicer for sure. That would have been perfect. Now I'm not so sure I want to upgrade for just the interior changes. Losing the drl design and the old grill style is a downgrade imo for the look of the front end.

New 23 is going to make the resale of the older model years go down. Just the interior alone is a huge step forward and what Kia was lacking.

Don’t think I agree. I still prefer the look of the 2022 exterior in the pictures I have seen this far. With demand still so high on these vehicles, I think they will hold value quite nicely for awhile.

we thinking the current all-weather floor mats will fit the '23? I want to buy some now and I am not sure if my order will be picked up as a 22 or 23.

Yep, same car, just some cosmetic changes. None to the structure of the vehicle.

The interior is a step forward, but I don't think it will affect resale values much, yet. Especially if the engine was not changed at all.

Ordered a SXP Nigthfall in January. Nothing thus far so I believe I will visit my sales guy this weekend to let him know I will be waiting a little longer for the 2023. I like the new dash design, the fact there is still an actual gear shift to hold onto, and the X-Pro option looks great.
Curious to know if there is a dual sunroof option for the X-Pro. I haven’t noticed in any of the videos from the NY show today. My husband said whatever you want my lady so I will just wait.
Saw it today at the NY Show. Can confirm it has the dual sunroofs. Rep I talked to said there would be a higher and lower version of the x pro ( Think S and SX)

Personally I’ll stick with my 2022 Nightfall SXP. I like the grill better in the 2022. I like my front lights better. Only thing I like better in the 2023 is the back. Not sold on the interior changes just yet.

As much as I like the amber lights and I guess my 22 sx-p grill? (minor differences) , I'll gladly trade in minor aesthetic differences in for the extra tech and functionality.

-digital cluster I don't care about the gauges but the larger infotainment screen and the less appearance of bezel is a welcomed sight
-USB C ports that are faster charging according to some reviews
-updated wireless charging speed and positioning to allow larger phones
-lane changing for the adaptive cruise control (unsure if that's included in sx-p trim but we'll soon find out)
-Digital key. I'm hoping the demo isn't the exact way to enable digital key. I'd rather just have a fob in my pocket to open the door instead of reaching out my phone and then pulling the door. That's an extra step just so I can leave my keyfob at home. I'm hoping it's like the Tesla where you walk up to it. Either way, I think you still need the key fob to start the car so digital key might not be as good as some would expect.

I was very surprised to see my '22 Telluride SX (that I picked up yesterday) did not read speed signs. All my cars before (5+ lol) have...

Happy to see the '23 model has HDA2 with this feature. Hoping the system works better too - generally good but terrible at dealing with highway exits.

Highly unlikely but hoping 360 cameras are on x-line. I need a 2nd row bench so can’t buy an SX. I have them on my Hyundai and they are great!

Well, you’re still going to be stuck. The X-Line trim is basically going to mimic the Nightfall. Meaning none of them will have a bench.

The EX X-Line will presumably be just like the EX Premium Nightfall (no 360°, no bench). And then the SX X-Line will bring SX features.

Such a bummer! Maybe I can remove the captains chairs and build a platform...at least it would be completely flat with underneath storage.

Trying too hard to be like Mercedes on the interior on the digital instrument panel. If something breaks then oh man will the whole replacement cost an arm and a leg.
