• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I agree with you but I'm not in a position to wait a year for a Telluride.
Well then - do this. Order a Telluride now, and buy whatever. When your Telly comes in, sell your "whatever" car and make a nice profit on it in this runaway used car market.

Tons of new things on the '23 Telluride specifically, or Kia in general?
The 23 Telluride

Not a bad idea if I can find dealer who will order 2023 Telly for MSRP.
There are actually many dealers around the country who sell with no markup. A one-way plane ticket of a few hundred bucks is cheap to buy your car this way. Many (most?) of them will even pick you up at the airport.

In your opinion is it worth waiting for vs picking up a 22?
Personal taste.. the way I see it I sold about 15 Tellurides in the last few months who bought the 2022 knowing they will break even or make money if they decide they wanted to move to a 2023..

I would recommend getting the 2022 and then you can always upgrade and not be in a bad position given the current market

Failcat hasn't received new VINs over the last 24 hours. It also show very slow productions over the last 2 days. Seems like 2022 is done.
I was informed last week that my order was picked up as '22 with late September ETA. They also noted they'd have window sticker in 2 weeks (making it next week). Looking at Failcat, I've not seen a spec matching my color choices since early July.

I suspect its more likely that Failcat is not seeing everything. Don't think we know enough to make conclusion that '22 is done.

I think I got very lucky. I had placed orders with 2 diff dealers with plan to decide later if we really wanted two Tellurides (wife & I both like them). Both were actually picked up for '22 but we're going to slide one of them in to a '23, keeping our place in line. Good to hear there is a lot to like on the '23, that new dash, the blue color, and the driver assistance features had me mostly sold. Hopefully we'll have our '23 by end of this calendar year.

This community is great… got a text this morning from the Hyundai dealer with an SEL palisade premium, we just needed to put $500 down and it would be ours. My wife said (smart lady) she wants to wait and build a telluride she loves. Then I read this and now I’m pumped to hear about the ‘23 updates!

Good luck, but you should at least spend some time reading here about the exceptionally lengthy waits that many people who ordered custom Tellurides have had to endure. Then, if you still want to risk a delay of up to 12 months, at least you'll be choosing that path with open eyes.

Are you looking into 2023 Palisade. SEL premium package is missing leather seats option for 2023. It is there for 2022. 2023 comes with H-tex leather seating and perforated. Much better than Telly syntex leather seats though.

I am looking at SEL due to second row bench seat option. Sucks that there is no leather in the SEL but seems like a nice ride to me with Premium package. Cannot have everything (unless you spring for Calligraphy trim level).

Thanks @3Rivers

I’ve been waiting since we put down our deposit on 12/5/21… more meant I’m glad there are some knowledgeable members here to help encourage the right decision be caving 2 months quicker to a palisade. I’m excited for a telluride!

I checked out MDX and Palisade yesterday. Base MDX (comes with bench seat) starts at 50k. For Leather interior, we have to go with Tech package model which starts at $56k. Then there is another 4k dealer mandatory accessories.

Palisade SEL (premium) price is around 45k I think (Bench seat). It comes with H-Tex leather which is perforated and better than MDX/Kia synthetic leather. Limited (Captain chairs) Palisade is 47k. Hyundai dealer (same dealer) is also asking for 4K extra for mandatory accessories to reserve SEL. I am still not sure about not getting SEL and Bench seat with leather interior. Need to check with Hyundai.

KIA EX (bench seat) is cheapest to buy with good leather interior. But KIA takes 8 months to build orders placed at MSRP.

Internal information has been released.. I unfortunately can not share as it is marked internal only.. but this is positive news as we are definitely one step closer..

Side note.. TONS of new things are coming to get excited about on the 23 year.. Keep an eye out on FB side as someone may leak the info..
Have you seen the info pop up anywhere? I’ve looked on multiple forums and FB
