SX X-Pro Start of Production is Nov.. so not open to order yet

Tow Package on the SX FWD and SX Prestige and EX FWD Start of Production is Oct.. so not available to order yet

Tow Package now called Tow mode is Standard on the X-Line and X-Pro models

Are you certain that the 2023 "Tow Mode" includes the Tow Package? It was a separate adder on the 2022 which added $795 in addition to the NF package. It seems that if X-Line includes the "Tow Package" we just saved about $800 in the 2023?

If this is true. Why can't options be ordered now as well? Doesn't make sense to me.

Right, but it's an SXP interior color. So if you get an SXP X-Line, only the X-Line interiors are fair game? It's a bit confusing.

Doesn’t need to be confusing. Adding X-Line gets you the X-Line appearance, which includes aspects of the interior.

If you get a “core” EX, SX, or SX-P, you can choose from black, gray, deep navy/misty gray, and mahogany. If you go X-Line, you can choose from black, terracotta, or sage green.

So the 2022 SXP AWD NF build was $50,715 (no tow package). The 2023 SXP X-Line AWD is $53,110.

The difference is about $2,300. A 5% increase doesn't seem too outrageous given inflation?

Plus if I'm correct, the '23 config includes tow package so the difference is a little smaller but enough for me to say I'll stick with the '22 for the time being until a complete redesign and hopefully a return to sanity on car prices.

Agree - I asked Mr. Cantrelle if we are ceratin Tow Package is included, since it was an adder to the Nightfall package in 22. That would be a pleasant surprise but I am skeptical. Let's see.

Is my understanding correct that the new curved display isn't available until you get up to the SX line? Assuming it's being called a "dual curve integrated display"? All the models lower than the SX will be very similar to '22?

It is standard on the X-Line and X-Pro optional on the EX, SX and SX Prestige FWD. Not available to add to the FWD models yet

Have yet to see the Mahogany yet.. Terracotta looks to be a Brown Version

You'll get curved display and 12.3" navigation on all trims. The lower ones will have a digital gauge cluster but it won't be as robust or hi tech.

As long as you were content with the EX-P, you're going to come out ahead with the 2023... it gets you the 20" wheels and LED headlights without being forced to get 7 seats.

Of course, you'll still be missing out on the goodies from the SX, but you were already planning on that with your original order.

Exactly what i am missing from 2022. LED headlights, we have a workaround with Lasfit ones. I do not have any idea why Kia didn't offer 2022 EX with 20" wheels and bench seat. Do you think, it is the weight issue?

Two follow up questions if that is ok.

1. If you order a color like Terracotta on the X-Line SX Prestige could that greatly lengthen delivery time. Some manufactures for example build tons of the common interior chosen colors, and I would be happy with a Black or Terracotta interior. Our MDX Type S Adv. would have taken 2 extra months if I chose a harder to get interior.

2. Can actual orders be placed yet for the 23's? I was in the office and looking at KFOS and the allocations of what is inbound was, but in the ordering screen the 23' Telluride wasn't listed yet. Are random allocations the only option right now or can we request the actual trim I am looking for?

Interior color should not make a difference in wait time IMO..

Actual orders are now be entered and being placed in queue in Kdealer. KFOS has yet to open.. that will take place next month to start to fill those in queue. I have entered several so far in kdealer.

Allocations started to show up just a few hours ago.
