If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Telluride---Keep here on the forum not on FB

Not stoked about the front bumper or raised roof rails. @StephenCantrelle When would you guess more info and pictures will drop on the trims, specifically the X Line?
Hopefully here in the next month of two..

Hi Stephen, Thank you so much for sharing. That sounds pretty detailed and reasonable for a refresh - wouldn't be surprised if accurate. Also bummed that butterscotch may be gone. Hope my order gets picked up before the changeover or else I don't know what to do.

Any "rumor" yet when changeover to MY '23 will happen?

T
Appears that the Black and Gray options are available on all trims.

With these new trims I am not quite sure how the crossover will go this year. It was pretty simple in prior years but with this I don't know how it will go for those initial crossover orders.
Thanks. Anxiously awaiting some concrete info from a dealer or Kia on how the switch goes. Going to be really frustrated if they convert me to a standard SXP since I assume that would mean a loss of WG and NF on my order.

What I don't get is why is there no cut-off date for '22 orders to be produced before they switch to '23 orders. Converting '22 orders to '23s seems to cause more issues, especially if trim levels don't align anymore. But what do I know...

There will be. Just not released yet. Plant(Telluride line) usually shuts down for 2-3 weeks to retool between year change

October is the rumor.. but I think it is sooner

Hi, do you happen to know if the raised roof rails will only be available on the new trims or will this be something you can add to an sx? Also, will you be able to get an sx prestige without awd? Thank you!

No idea on the roof rail at this time. Appears Prestige model is like current models and only with AWD.

Sorry I meant a cut-off date for '22 orders, so you'd be able to get a '22 if you ordered by a certain date. The day after and forward would be '23s only.

Thanks! What makes you think its sooner?

I have an ETA beginning of September for my '22 order so I hope I can get one of the last '22s built. Fingers crossed.
If you have an ETA then your order has been accepted to be built. So you will definitely get a 2022.

I just feel it will be sooner based off history since its been out. Just a guess on my end.. nothing official

Thank you. Have to admit I'm a little confused by the dealer-lingo. The day I placed my order (March 4th, 2022), my salesperson said that my order was "accepted" by Kia. Also, I am still "in line" and delivery "has been right about 6 months from order date".

Hi Stephen! I ordered my 2022 SX Telluride with Dark Moss Exterior and Butterscotch interior on 03/17/2022 and was given a delivery estimate of 6-9 months from order. Now, with the 2023's being restyled I was thinking I would update my order to go with a 2023, but I just read they have gotten rid of the Butterscotch interior....noooooo! How sure is that, and do you know if they are offering any brown interior options on the 2023 SX? Really liking the new dash on the 2023, but not sure I want to sacrifice my interior color for it. Dealer said today that they think I am on track for a 2022 but of course its a guessing game at this point and now I am torn on which route to take.
As always will try to release what I see here before you see it anywhere else.

None of the following is official but what I can see with new codes and opt group showing on our internal side.

LX model looks to stay the same

S model now offers a Sunroof package(So looks like optional)

EX model now showing a Mahogany Interior. Also showing a Navy/Gray interior. Along with our current Black and Gray interior options.

SX model now showing a Mahogany Interior. I don't see butterscotch or espresso anymore but do see in its replacement a Navy/Gray interior. Still seeing our current Black and Gray options.

SX Prestige AWD showing Mahogany Interior as well as current Black and Gray option.

New Trims:

X-Line EX AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior.
X-Line SX AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior.
X-Pro SX AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior.
X-Line SX Prestige AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior.
X-Pro SX Prestige AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior.

Exterior colors:

LX showing Ebony Black/Everlasting Silver/ Glacial White Pearl and Gravity Gray
S showing Dawning Red/ Ebony Black/ Everlasting Silver/ Dark Moss/ Glacial White Pearl/ Gravity Gray/ Midnight Lake Blue
EX FWD and AWD showing Dawning Red/ Ebony Black/ Everlasting Silver/ Dark Moss/ Glacial White Pearl/ Gravity Gray/ Midnight Lake Blue
SX FWD and AWD showing Dawning Red/ Ebony Black/ Everlasting Silver/ Dark Moss/ Glacial White Pearl/ Gravity Gray/ Midnight Lake Blue
X Line/X Pro lines showing all colors as well as Wolf Gray and Jungle Green minus Dawning Red.

I know we have a ton of new people here. Please keep this information of our forum. We like to keep things here.
Will share additional information as I see it.

Thanks as always and for helping grow this community.

@StephenCantrelle

Stephen, I have so many questions. Hopefully you can at least take an educated stab but if not, I will wait for more official info from Kia.

X-Line SX Prestige AWD showing a Terracotta Interior and Sage Green Interior. Does this mean that Black is not an INT open on the X-Line SX Prestige AWD? Or are these just new INT options? You say you can still see black earlier in your post, but just want to check.

Guesses on how 2022 orders will port to 2023 given the new trims and no NF? IE, will a NF order covert to an X-Line? Then X-Pro would be an all new order? I ordered an SX-P NF and am curious to know if that will convert to an X-Line SXP.

Side note, I about had a heart attack on the colors until I read the last bullet, I thought WG was gone and that is the color I ordered.
I was about to have an anxiety attack until I saw the wolf gray in the x-line!! How will it look with WG without NF?

This is the X-Line:

In addition to the ”X-line” badge out back, you can see this has 20” wheels, rather than the 18” wheels (and larger tires) seen on the X-Pro.
Ahh okay thanks! I've seen that first picture but assumed it was the X-Pro. Now that you point out the 20" wheels, it makes sense. Guess I'll have to wait for more pictures and information to determine what color/trim to get once mine switches to the 2023. I really like the Nightfall in Gravity Gray so this picture appears to be the 2023 equivalent, which if true I'd be happy with since the bumper blends in well with GG/whatever color this is.

So when you place an order it goes into a queue. When your order gets committed you get an official ETA from the factory. When this happens then you are pretty much locked in to get the 2022.

If you are still "in line" than you are still waiting for your order to be committed by Kia to the dealership level.

Hope that helps a little with the process.

This is just what I am seeing on our internal side. Can things change(It is possible).

Is this official? (It is not)
Is this likely the color options because I have never seen these options/codes before? (very likely)

I hope we have Brown options as well as it was very well accepted by many clients including myself. We will have to wait for more info to come out and I will post as I see updates like I do every year.

But this is more info than what is currently out there at the moment, so just doing my best to share.

Fingers crossed they still offer your Butterscotch interior. 🤞

Thank you so much! I appreciate you sharing all of the information that you do have. I guess this is teaching all of us with orders a lesson in patience! :) Side note - how can I search my dealer orders in failcat? I know that a vehicle is not listed there until a VIN is issued, but I wanted to snoop and see how many orders my dealer has actively in there. I ordered from Geweke Kia in Yuba City, CA. Their dealer license # is 26356
